First time eating here with my family (including two toddlers) at the downtown location, and it was great. Our server, Luscious (hope I spelled that right), was warm and attentive, which we really appreciated.
We had the donuts, mac and cheese, pancakes, fried eggs with cheese, and waffles—everything was delicious. A little salty for my taste, but clearly cooked to order with quality ingredients, so the wait was worth it. Portions were generous, leftovers were still good later, and we’ll definitely be back—this may be our new Sunday breakfast spot!

I had my baby shower event here at the downtown Ft Myers location this past weekend and everything was just perfect! From the beginning of planning the event – Amy, the manager there, was very responsive and organized. She is so kind and easy to work with! My guest list was 22 people and our original plan was to have it outside in the small garden area – but the cold & rainy weather had other plans. Amy and her staff helped my mom set up inside with our decorations, flowers etc and I could not have been any happier! They made everything work out and it was just perfect. We decided on a set brunch menu of 4 dishes and everything was amazing, everyone loved their meals – esp the chicken and waffles! (Everyone raved about the syrup!). This was my second time eating at Fancy’s downtown and the service was great. Everyone is so polite & we had no issues with anything. I want to give a tremendous thank you to Amy & her staff for making my baby shower so wonderful!
I truly enjoyed everything about my event! Would highly recommend this location, it is absolutely gorgeous inside and located right in the heart of downtown. The food, drinks & service are amazing! Thank you!!

I visited this location for the first time on January 24th, in celebration of my sister in-law and my nephew’s birthday.
I normally frequent the original location off Daniels Rd.
I’m VERY DISAPPOINTED about this place.
1st of all, my sister in-law placed the reservations weeks in advance and submitted the restaurant with pre-ordered food, per their request.
Our reservation was for 8pm.
WHY on earth did it take them well past 9:30pm, to deliver our orders?
This was the WORSE customer service experience we EVER had.
Servers were coming out calling out the entree instead of calling out the patrons name. There were mix ups with the food and undercooked Liver and Onions.
I ordered the Shrimp and Grits and to my SURPRISE there were ONLY 4 Shrimp total in my entree.
I was NOT impressed and neither were my family members and friends.
Because they were EXTREMELY LATE bringing out the food, we asked for to-go containers.
There was NO Mgr coming over to check on us to see if we were satisfied, or accommodating our needs!!
The BEST part of this experience was that the band played great music and the birthday cake and the other treats, which were baked and brought in, were the Chef’s Kiss
I wouldn’t recommend coming here and I will NOT be coming back.
I will stick to the original location off Daniels.

We came here for a girls’ night and had the best time! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was vibrant, stylish, and full of great energy — exactly what we were hoping for. The staff made us feel so welcome, and their attention to detail was impressive. Marcus was our waiter and he was top notch with his service!
The food was absolutely delicious — every dish was beautifully presented and packed with flavor. We ordered a little bit of everything to share, and not a single plate disappointed. The cocktails were equally amazing — creative and perfectly balanced!
What really made the night special was how relaxed and fun it felt. There was live jazz music which set the perfect tone without hindering our conversations. We never felt rushed — just laughter, great conversation, and incredible food.
If you’re looking for a place that combines amazing food, gorgeous vibes, and top-notch service, this is the spot.

Fancy’s has a cozy, welcoming vibe and serves up some seriously good food. The ribeye was cooked perfectly to a juicy medium, the meatloaf was delicious, and the pot roast was tender and flavorful. The chicken and waffles come with a dry rub that works perfectly with the sweet, rich syrup—one of my favorites of the night. The frog legs were interesting…The cornbread was the best I’ve ever had, hands down. The only miss was the water, which didn’t taste great, but everything else was spot on. Definitely worth a visit.

We went in on a weekday, during lunch. We were seated right away and greeted by our server within moments of sitting down. The restaurant is beautiful, seating is comfortable. We started with the fried grits which were fantastic. Breaded perfectly with a nice white sauce. My friend had the fried green tomato BLT. She said that was great. The bacon was thick and cooked well. I had the hot chicken plate, dark meat. It wasn’t spicy but more Cajun seasoned; also great. Mashed potatoes and gravy are a staple. Mac n cheese was fantastic as well. I can’t wait to go back.

We sat at the bar and had the best service ever! Bartenders Stan and Tracey were awesome! They make you feel very welcome and appreciated. I wanted to just taste the liver and onions and Stan was so kind to go ask the chef Roman and he brought me out a sample and it was delish! They were very busy and for them to take the time to do that was above and beyond! I would highly recommend going here. We will be back.

Fantastic new spot downtown! The fried frog legs with hot honey were huge and delicious, with three sets per appetizer. The bone marrow was tasty, though the amount of marrow can vary. My fried catfish was cooked perfectly with just the right amount of seasoning. Great upscale vibe near the Luminary and outstanding, attentive staff. Highly recommend!

I ordered the fried green tomatoes for an appetizer. I ended up getting several white core pieces in my app.
One person in our party ordered the meatloaf and that was very good. I had country fried steak with white gravy that was yellow. Still pretty tasty though.
All sides are all a carte and like $12 a piece. The collard greens were very good. The macaroni and cheese was okay.
Their dessert menu is pretty big and the portion size are big as well.

Last night was my birthday so my husband made dinner reservations knowing I’ve wanted to try Fancy’s. The place is beautiful, incredible vibes. Our server was extremely odd. He did not smile one time, very dry and did not have any manners. My husband brought a birthday cake for me and when it was time to “sing” the server literally put the cake box in front of me with candles on top of the box. He seemed annoyed anytime we asked him anything. The food was okay, chicken and waffles was the best at our table. I may give the Daniels location a try but based on my weird experience at this location I’m not sure I’ll be back for more than a drink at the bar.
