Christie was our server and she was so efficient, responsive and kind. The food was excellent as always—fresh, tasty and savory. The hostess was cool under pressure as it was a busy evening….what a great team. We’ve been here several times—you should try this place.

Always on the hunt for good Japanese/Bento-type places. I’m strictly a California roll-type sushi guy (so not really a sushi guy), but I love me some great hibachi!! Found this place through a Google search while passing through the area about 30 mins from where we live.
At first, I thought they were closed… it’s located in a strip mall off a large parking lot, and if it weren’t for the LED “open” sign, I’d have thought they were all locked up due to the literally black-out tinting on their parking lot-facing windows. To be fair, many FL businesses use tinting to help control temps inside, but this was SO dark I would’ve completely missed it being open if I hadn’t tried the door.
Upon entering, it was pretty small, but had a family feeling, and quite welcoming. I was seated immediately, and it was pretty crowded. There were a lot of nice looking sushi dishes being served as I passed by some of the tables! Nice background music, and easy to talk.
I decided to go with a CA roll, and the hibachi scallops/shrimp dinner. I was pleasantly surprised that the scallops were the large sea scallops, and not the tiny bay scallops so many places serve. And the shrimp were nice-sized too!
I started with the included bowl of Miso soup (very tasty) and the included ice cold crisp green salad with traditional ginger dressing… also tasty. They also brought me a complimentary 4-piece sampler fried/cooked sushi roll with a very savory sauce – excellent! The people next to me said they always serve that… wish I’d known, it was very good, and I had way too much food! Plus the CA roll, although, while I often order CA roll, and am quite accustomed to both imitation krab, and real crab options (this place only serve the imitation krab, but also points that out on their menu, which is nice, so you don’t have to ask)… the CA roll left something to be desired. It was freshly made, but… can’t quite place my finger on it… the quality of the imitation crab, and the other ingredients just didn’t have the right fresh texture and taste… it was good, but… I’ve had far better.
The dinner was served with mixed veggies and fried rice, PLUS noodles, in addition to the very generous portion of hibachi scallops and shrimp (5 large of each!). SO much food! The hibachi sauce was basically teriyaki, and nothing special, and the noodles weren’t quite warm enough, but overall, the food was quite good.
Really a nice meal. Not something I’d travel 30 mins for, but definitely would stop in again if I am in the area.

This is the best sushi in Apopka hands down. This is our first time here but it’s definitely not our last. A true Hidden Gem! The food came fast and the fish quality was fantastic. I cannot say enough nice things about them. Miso, sushi, hibachi, everything was perfect. Service was friendly and price was right.

They have the same food except they dont have ramen at this location
They gave us a complimentary sushi, which is very good. We ordered hibachi lunch, so it was cheaper!
The service was great! It’s kinda far from where we live but it’s worth it. I highly recommend for a good, reasonable food!!

Updated review 2023: This place is still one of my favorites. The sushi is always so good and the people are wonderful. My favorites are the Jaguar and the King roll, but everything we’ve tried is really good. Eddie’s Special is always delicious too!

I’ve come here a couple times with my friend and this little place tucked into a strip mall with blacked out windows looks extremely unassuming but the food here is great.
It’s a small restaurant with that modern Asian fusion style decor. The place is clean. The servers are always friendly. And the food has always been good quality and fresh, what more could you want. The prices here aren’t bad either. Large menu. Very straightforward. It’s super basic but sometimes that’s all you are looking for and it’s perfect.

Sushi was very good. Tasted fresh. Large cuts of fish for my Sashimi and Nigiri. We were a party of 7 on Father’s Day. The place was busy but they were quick with our larger than normal orders. My daughter and I ordered the sushi boat. Three others had 2 rolls each, and two guests had chicken dishes (they were large portions). We rarely go out for sushi. Just on special occasions. Sushi places for us have been hit or miss. We will definitely be back here. The place was clean. The food was great. The service was good. The atmosphere was cool. Good job Fancy Q

Was in the area and decided to give this place a try. Wow! Happy I did! Little hidden gem. Fresh Sushi served with efficiency.
The spicy salmon was top notch as were all the other sushi we had including, yellow tail, Philly and california. All of the servers were kind and were excellent at getting what was asked. To top off the experience, the atomosphere was perfect (loved the lights). Pricing was solid as well. Will certainly be back!

Came here after visiting kings landing, Delicious food. I will come back. The pad Thai was good, personally I would like it a little less sweet. The curry was very good, no complaints, and sushi was fresh and wish we ordered more.
