Went to fancy pastry on Valentine’s day. Yes they were a little busy but that was expected for it to be Valentine’s day but that didn’t stop them. They were so sweet and nice and was fast about getting people order out and keeping the line moving. We got this cutie cake and some doughnuts holes and they were so amazing.

Love this old school bakery. I’ve been to 27 countries and this dessert might be my absolute favorite…

Went here after bbq and got the French Apple Pie. If you haven’t had it before you’re missing out! Apples and plump raisins in a pie crust with thick buttercream frosting on top. Chef’s kiss, so indulgent and so worth it. I’ve been dreaming about this pie ever since.

Very solid old-school bakery. We wanted a cake design and showed them a photo, and the cake designers thought it was too complex so we looked at another design and that was too complex, so we settled on an easier design, and they did a great job with that. (See photo).
This place is huge. And they are cranking out the cupcakes and the treats. Everything looked delicious, but since we were only there to pick up the cake, we did not buy any other products.
The turkey cupcakes looked adorable!

I ordered 2 pies for Thanksgiving (Chocolate Custard and Coconut Custard). I was able to contact these folks through Facebook to put in the order, they were SUPER nice, and the pies were ready to roll as soon as I showed up on the day I needed them.

The pies were creamy and rich, the crust was flakey, and the flavors were perfect. I don’t believe I have ever had a better pie. I would recommend this for any occasion. Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter, a craving on a random Tuesday, just go here and get some of the best baked sweets you could ever have!

Came in for a special order last second, literally, and they were able to get it filled while we were there. It wasn’t a huge order and we didn’t need anything super detailed that we needed but it was very much needed and they did not disappoint. Service with all smiles from everyone working.

Also grabbed a few extra snacks while there and everything was just top notch, from the warm apple fritter doughnut holes to the cannoli’s.

Love an old school bakery and this is MEGA old school. I was seeking pie for a friend and stumbled upon this place. They had several for sale including a seldom seen French Apple. Picked that up along with an Apple Fritter [good], a honey bun [great] and an oatmeal cream sandwich cookie. The nice lady assisting me said it was one of their best selling items. Maybe I got a bad one but I thought it was average and needed more creme. Service was great and the young lady said she loved her job. It showed. They have donuts, cupcakes, mini pies, cookies and this really unique frosted croissant with a chocolate creme. I regret not getting that.

Absolutely amazing cake and service. My son celebrated his birthday here in NC. They coordinated the cake while we were back in our home state ensuring the cake would be ready on arrival and it was. Not to mention how sweet and friendly the staff was when we arrived to pick it up. Also the ginger bread cookies were perfect. Thank you for your hard work girl it doesn’t go unnoticed ♥️

I was treated differently from other customers when helped today. First of all, they acted like they didn’t want to help me when it was my turn. I waited behind three other women that were serviced well and given the fresh items that are kept in the back. When I was served, the young lady helping me tried to sell me the older product located behind the glass in the front of the store! I was livid for more reasons than one and I asked her why would she sell me those when the fresher ones are in the back and you gave the three women in front of me the fresh product? They were served with a smile and quickly. When it was my turn, both ladies headed to the back as if they didn’t want to help me. I’m so tired of this treatment at certain businesses in Davidson County and I promise they will never receive another dime from me!! I hate biased companies that show differences in service. They knew that they were guilty and I felt the attitude given to me when I called the difference in treatment out! I will not be treated indifferent and never patronize this business again! It’s not as good as it used to be anymore so I want miss a thing!!

Ordered 2 dozen cupcakes for my daughter’s baby shower. This is my 1st grandchild so this is extra special. We have used Fancy Pastry for years now and no real issues. When I called to make the order, the young lady had absolutely no idea of what she was doing. It was also so loud behind her that I couldn’t hear. She did hear me say that I wanted his name written on some and initials on the others. Just some Forrest green cupcakes with a name. Nothing extravagant. When I went to pick them up I was absolutely heartbroken at how these looked. Just some plain cupcakes with clumpy green icing that wasn’t even mixed properly because there was still a lot of white showing. I was told by I’m guessing who was the manager that they “ don’t write on cupcakes”. I asked why did her employee say they did? No answer. $43 for cupcakes I could have had made myself for maybe $8!!! I even asked the lady if this is the kind of product that she wants her business known by. I’m not a Karen and never will be. I just don’t like it when people are taken advantage of. The absolute kicker though.. they were some of the driest cupcakes I’ve ever eaten!!! Out of 24, 16 were brought home so…. I blame myself though. Some local private baker would have been happy to take the order and they would have taken pride in their work. All Fancy Pastry has become is nostalgic. I’d be extremely surprised if they last another decade. Especially with products like these.. that’s just my opinion though. ‍♀️

About three cupcakes one cinnamon roll and one cream filled donut and it was about 20 bucks almost they do wonderful work but my cupcakes were drier than the Dickens they practically crumbled in your hand this is the second time I have visited this shop I bought cupcakes back at Halloween I had one with the zombie hand coming out of it I had one that had the purple flowers on it and I had one with a ghost ring before anybody says that I didn’t go there I did That’s twice I’ve been there then they got the order mixed up because when I got home I had somebody else’s apple fritter in my box so I assume the guy in front of me got my cinnamon roll but it’s okay maybe it was just an off week I don’t know so I will give them another try in the future
