So the food here was great! It was the hottest thing I’ve eaten in a year lol I didn’t realize it would be that hot, but it was still delicious! I do not like however how the ordering system works. You scan a QR code with your phone and order and pay over your phone. That means you add the tip before even getting your food which, imo is not great. I completely understand from a streamline perspective though. I sat down to eat and had to ask for water and ice. It’s really not like a come sit and eat restaurant it’s like they are trying to make it a pick up only restaurant. Eh, maybe it’s working for them, but when I go put to a restaurant I like to sit and hang out. I felt like I was supposed to get my food to go. The two folks working though were very nice. I understand they are just trying to run a business, so for what it was it’s okay. The interior is nice and modern and clean. The food was great though!

Easy simple comfort food. Went there 2 times already and I always have a good time there. They have a small table to do self service for water, sauce and extra plates.The food is delicious and the portions are huge. The price is reasonable. Be back to try more dishes next time.

Raw and barely cooked/fried beans. Good beans will have wrinkle-crispy outside and crunchy inside. This is crunchy outside and raw veg inside.
Sauce tastes great so such a shame! Not going back again but young and vibrant servers hope they correct this- quality will bring customers, nothing else.

The best rice noodle soup I had Seattle! It’s the wide soft rice noodles in a tasty soup, exact taste from home town. One of the soup bases is sour bamboo roots which is simply delicious.

A little bit disappointing. We ordered two noodle dishes, and both came with raw garlic — the strong, pungent flavor overpowered the rest of the dish. I also got the Hunan-style zhajiang noodles and asked for it to be spicy, but it had no heat at all. It didn’t taste authentic — isn’t Hunan cuisine supposed to be spicy? Overall, not impressed.

Great quality Chinese comfort food, served in a clean environment with friendly staff. We’ve been fans of their location in Kirkland and are thrilled to see them open this new site in Newcastle. Another highlight – they’re very kid-friendly! They have high chairs and even have a few lightly seasoned dishes that my kid can enjoy.
