We decided to give Famous Wings and Grill a try for takeout tonight — mostly because I was craving some good wings, and the prices seemed reasonable. Plus, their online reviews are pretty solid, so we were hopeful.
Ordering online was super easy, and pickup was quick and convenient, which we appreciated.
Now for the food… the wings themselves were tiny, and unfortunately, not the best we’ve had. Not terrible, but definitely not memorable either. The Buffalo Lemon Pepper wings were overwhelmingly salty — it seemed like they went a little heavy on the lemon pepper seasoning. The grilled wings were dry and lacked the juicy bite we were hoping for.
We also tried the Hot Honey flavor, on fried wings, which had a really nice taste, but again, the wings were on the dry side. It might be due to how small they are — possibly overcooked during prep.
Surprisingly, the Garden Salad was the standout! It was fresh, crisp, and honestly really good. But when the salad is the best part of the meal from a wing spot… that kind of says something.
Overall, a mixed experience. Convenient and budget-friendly, but the wings didn’t quite hit the mark for us.

When working in the area we placed an order for pick up here. We have tried it’s twice now and the quality of the foo and the service has remained the same, excellent! The value you receive for what you pay is incredible. I couldn’t even eat all the wings I received in my order. No I didn’t order the 40 piece . They have a variety of sauces and combos to choose from. The food is cooked when you order it not precooked and sitting around to be reheated. You can see them obtain each item for prep and cooking if you went inside and ordered. Because it is freshly prepared, be prepared to wait a bit for your food but be thankful it’s not like other places where they serve you precooked reheated food.

Hands down best wings I’ve ever had. Can’t beat 50 wings, 2 large fries and a 2L for $50 plus tax. Def will be returning. The buffalo was the best my fiance has ever had and the sweet teriyaki had so much flavor.

Wow! All I can say is wow! We needed a place like this in Howell. We stop in about once a week for a Cheesesteak Meal Deal with fries and a few Grilled Buffalo Wings. The cheesesteak is extremely tasty, the bread is fresh, their fries are always hot and crispy, and the wings are exceptional, they have a dry rub on them, which is the perfect amount of spicy. All the food is cooked to order and is always fresh. Most people seem to get their orders to go, but my husband and I like to eat there. That way we can eat our food while it’s steaming, hot fresh off the grill. I recommend Famous Wings highly you won’t regret it.

Excellent local restaurant in Howell. Anytime I am craving wings, this is my go to spot. The portions are solid and the food has always been great. Besides the wings, my family also enjoys the gyros and shrimp wrap. Give this place a try, you will not be disappointed.

The food here is very good but the customer service is absolutely horrific. My office regularly ordered from here for lunch. My most recent experience will definitely be my last. Trying to get sides of dipping sauce when picking up the order was such an ordeal. They acted like I was making some unreasonable request to switch blue cheese out for ranch. When we got back with the order, we noticed that the food provided was incorrect. A chicken Caesar wrap was one of the items ordered and the wrap received was completely different. When I called them to discuss they were extremely dismissive and rude, as if I somehow created this situation. Good food is not hard to come by. I’ll gladly go elsewhere to ensure a better experience in the future.

Howell has never had a designated wing restaurant until this. These are some of the best wings I’ve ever had. These crunch and flavor from the wings are perfect. The buffalo sauce I love along with the house made blue cheese. Sometimes blue cheese has a weird flavor but this was perfect. Will 100% be coming back. The owner is an exceptional man and very welcoming. Will be returning!

Can’t wait to go back to this place! First of all, the prices are amazing. You basically get one wing per dollar which is unheard of nowadays and during their Monday-Thursday special from 2-5 you can get 35 wings for $21. Can’t beat it! I tried the boneless wings and they were really crispy and were a good size for boneless wings, definitely not just little chicken nuggets. And a can of soda is just $1.50.
One of my new favorite places for sure.
