I hadn’t been to a famous Uncle Al’s in several years but they were known for having good food at reasonable prices. I was extremely disappointed in this location on my recent visit. The empty tables were dirty and had not been bussed while the staff were occupied having personal conversations. We ended up sitting at the counter which also had not been cleaned. The grill was not cleaned in between orders during the entire time we sat there. This was evident in the taste of the food. The fries were brown instead of golden making me question the cleanliness of the grease as well. Both of our meals turned out to be inedible. The prices were exorbitant based on the quality of the food. Don’t waste your time or your money. I do not recommend Famous Uncle Al’s.

First time coming here and it was absolutely delicious. The owner welcomed us and even cooked. The place was clean and well maintained, even the bathroom! My group had two dogs (Al’s classic and the San Antonio) and a patty melt. The dogs were cooked to perfection with generous toppings. The patty melt was buttery and flavorful. I truly enjoyed coming to this establishment and dining here! Must try if you are in the area

Being that it’s only hotdogs, they were great, but my only critique is to drain the sauerkraut completely before putting it on the bun? By the time I walked to my vehicle, took pictures, and went to take a bite ½ the bun was grossly soggy. It was the dog I was most looking forward to trying
