I normally don’t complain about food in restaurants but this time I think the management needs to know. I meet a friend at Toast about once a month for breakfast. This morning I ordered a single Belgian waffle with a side of sausage patties. The waffle was excellent. The sausage patties were a different story – I’m not picky but these were absolutely the WORST thing I’ve ever tasted (well for sausage). They were cold and watery with no flavor. Normally I bring one home for my dog but it isn’t even fit for him. I mentioned this to the server when I was paying the bill. She said she would give it to her manager and said she’d give 10% off. Well that’s great and all but it should have been at least 50% because that was 1/2 of the meal lol. In addition the service was EXTREMELY slow even though the place was empty. We eventually had to track her down just to place our order. I tipped her anyway. Not sure if I’ll go back there again.

Good food, but a common mistake in serving breakfast is to put the food on to a cold plate. Over 50 years of experience in the kitchen has taught me that is always an issue. It immediately makes the food cold.

We visited this restaurant for the first time back in March. We were constantly driving past it and then I noticed it was offering cashback in one of the rewards apps I use and decided we should give it a try. Our server was Lisa and she was great. Our food was fresh and delicious. All of our bellies were happy. We already plan to return again one day very soon.

Amazing service and food. Every server is so friendly here. The atmosphere is the best. Doesn’t feel like you’re eating at a restaurant. So comfy.

Toast is probably my favorite brunch place, and I love this location. Very nice building in downtown Mooresville. It’s normally very busy on weekends though, so service can be a bit slow.
I LOVE the nutella berry toast, and they’ve got a lot of other great menu items. That includes fun seasonal specials.
Best for smaller groups as they don’t have many large tables, but I definitely recommend!

We waited 45 minutes for a table, which had become the norm. That’s OK. It was a nice day, so we sat outside and waited. We were a party of 6. Five of us ordered the special quesadea of the day, and one ordered Strawberry stuffed French Toast. We’ve ordered this breakfast special ques twice before. This time, there were far fewer ingredients on the inside and less guacamole. Two people got mostly chicken, and three of us got mostly eggs. They obviously didn’t make enough of the ingredients to fill the five orders but stretched it. None of us were happy but didn’t complain as we were hungry, and they were very busy. Lesson learned, though. The French Toast was very good. This won’t keep us from returning, but it will keep us from all ordering the same thing. Kayanna gave us excellent service again.

Famous Toastery in Downtown Mooresville is hands down the best breakfast/brunch in the area. I have almost never had a wait when I come with my family on the weekends. The menu is vast and can accommodate anyone, and the service really is great. The drinks are so good, the food comes out fast and fresh, and I have never been disappointed with a meal. Avocado toast, crepes, and quiches are my favorites. Definitely recommend checking out this location if you are in the area!

My first time dining at a Famous Toastery! I ordered breakfast which included one light and fluffy pancake cooked to perfection. In addition, I ordered two eggs scrambled with Swiss cheese and three strips of bacon. Orange juice completed the meal. Although it was pricey, I did enjoy the meal and attentive service.

I’ve only ever been to one other place that I’ve rated this high before we were even waited on! And this place did not disappoint!! The ambience here is so quaint in the downtown district, it was amazing. The waitress was helpful, funny and engaging. The food was far better than I thought it would be. I have never had a better meatloaf anywhere. Oh, and those vegetables are absolutely divine! Those would be worthy of a meal by themselves! The Avacodo Pesto Burger was juicy and covered your hands with “stuff”!! You will need three or four napkins when you get one of these!
