I love the setting of this place. Beautiful and spacious. My waitress was very nice. She informed me she was in training. I loved her personality as it was welcoming. Thank you for that. Now this is my first time here so let’s dig in first. Okay so I ordered wheat toast, scrambled eggs with cheese, corn beef hash and coffee. Great coffee with refills, now the corn beef hash came with a scrambled egg on top with what looks like a yellow sauce on it. Potatoes also. Well I wasn’t expecting how bland it was. No seasoning at all. I enjoy my food seasoned. Place looks upscale but the main part of the dish is bland. This was a turn off for me. Even the eggs are bland. Presentation looks great. The taste just isn’t there. And also there are no napkins given. They are missing a couple of gems that would complement the fine in experience. Not many. Great atmosphere and staff. Not the worst place at all but food quality took a hit for a nice spot like this. Put a little bit of love (seasoning) into what you serve to your customers and I guarantee better reviews and a bigger customer turn out.

The pancakes and scrambled eggs/sausage were good but the famous hash was absolutely awful. I love me some eggs and cornbeef hash and this was more like – if you took unflavored mashed potatoes and mixed w little bit of unflavored meat into it. This $17 “hash” prompted me to write this review. Maybe it was an off day? We must have also arrived when they were busy (although half the place was empty) because service was nonexistent.

This Famous Toastery on Branchview Dr in Concord is hands down one of the best breakfast spots from this chain that I have tried. Every visit has been consistent, great food, great service, and a welcoming vibe. The staff here really stands out. I can honestly say that the food and hospitality were outstanding. The staff were amazing, attentive, and always aware of the needs of both me and my guest. Dining here made for a truly enjoyable experience. With the fantastic food, delicious drinks, and engaging conversations with the staff, I felt as though I was having dinner at home with my family. 1st let me say our waitress was awesome. The setting was nice..sparse..but nice. I was very disappointed with my food. I got pancake..they serve you one, smoked sausage and eggs. The pancake was just ok. The smoked sausage, I truly believe was just a cut up hotdogs. There was a lot of grease. The egg was cooked the way I like it, however there was no salt or pepper. We had a large group and I heard the shrimp and grits were good. This seemed more like a chain restaurant than a legitimate brunch place.

Once more, “ The Famous toastery lived up to its stellar reputation. The staff here went above and beyond, surpassing all of my expectations without a second thought. Opting for brunch at this establishment was undoubtedly a fantastic decision. With delightful margarita flights and an array of delectable dishes, my table was treated to nothing short of excellence. Unfortunately the service here is missing completely. The place was not busy at all when we arrived between breakfast and lunch. Our waitress and two others were just chatting amongst themselves and were annoyed when after 15 minutes of waiting we flagged her to come take our order. She basically sleep-walked through taking our order and left as though we were in her way. No matter how good the food is, I won’t be back – life is hard enough without paying $50 and feeling invisible. This has already ruined my day and our food hasn’t arrived yet.
Food arrived. Honestly it was disappointing. Our BLt was served with stale generic “ruffles” chips. Toast was cold. They were out of most of the specials they were advertising. No return visit from our waitress. Felt like a “take it or leave it” experience. No drink refills. Just being honest. This is not a good look.
We didn’t bother to complain but a second staff member was at least more friendly when she came to pick up our empty plates. We did mention the stale chips – and ironically she offered to get us more…. Like what? More stale chips? The whole experience felt disconnected from reality. I recommend sunshine restaurant as an alternative.
