My wife wanted to try this place out. She had seen it on a page she follows and asked a question on a reviewer’s comment. The owner replied to her which really impressed us. So we stopped in for lunch. The restaurant is very clean and everyone there was nice. We both got the steak in a sack combo and subbed onion rings for the fries. (This was based on the owner’s suggestion). We were VERY pleased. The steak in a sack was a generous portion and the onion rings were delicious. My wife and I agree that it is the best steak in a sack we have had in years! We have a new eating out place for a quick bite. We will definitely be returning!

I had been wanting a good ‘steak in a sack’ and onion rings. I saw a great review about Famous Sandwiches on ‘ClayEats’ and knew my husband & I needed to give them a try. (Especially after the owner replied to my comment on there.) The steak in a sack was huge and flavored so well. And not too salty like so many other places are. I would be willing to say it’s the best I’ve ever had. The onion rings were just as promised. Delicious and crispy. They also had great sweet tea. (That’s a biggie for me.) The restaurant itself was very clean. I want to go back and try their chicken livers next!

Did dine in. The place was clean and they had college football playing. There was alot to choose from but ended up going simple with the number 8. Cheeseburger, fries, and drink, also ordered the onion rings. The prices are very reasonable and the food was good. Definitely made to order so that is always a plus. They also keep the condiments refrigerated IYKYK. The young man at the counter was polite and attentive. Definitely worth stopping in and giving them a try. Going to add this place to the “worth your money” list ✨️ just for reference 3 meals with drinks & a side of rings for the table cost us $35 … In this economy that’s a deal. Decent portions & the soda was crispy

This place has great eggs. Cooked to perfection. The seasoned fries are to die for. But the best part is the staff! Very friendly and easy to get along with. They remember you even if you’re not a regular. But guess what? I’m going to be a regular!

Stopped in for lunch. Hanni greeted me, and after I told him it was my first time stopping in went over all my questions. Had a great lunch dinning in. 10/10 recommend stopping in to see him and his brother!

Fantastic spot with classic, fast service and incredible food. The burgers are massive, and the fries and onion rings are delicious. The owners are great, too. The food is so good it disappears instantly—you’ll definitely want to order extra. I’ll be back for sure!

Craving chicken livers, read the reviews, gave them a try. When I got home, first bite was a gizzard. (I hate gizzards.) Called them, was asked to hold for manager……15 minutes later, they hung up. I took the food back to them and told them I ordered livers, but got gizzards, with a couple of livers mixed in. The manager told me they dont mix the two and what I got were livers. I picked up a gizzard and bit it to show him the meat inside was a gizzard. He said it was a liver! He said “I should know, I cook them”. I responded, “I should know, I EAT THEM! He maintained they were livers.
Had he of said, I’m sorry, our mistake or something to the effect, I would’ve waited for another order and been happy. But, he basically called me a liar and insisted I didnt know the difference….if anyone eats gizzards or livers…..they know there is no possibility of mixing the them up.
He did refund my money, without any apology or acknowledgement of the issue.
I will never eat there again. I prefer to feel like my patronage is important, especially in small busineses.

Great quality food at a great price. I love their pita sandwiches. My favorite to get for breakfast is the sausage egg and cheese pita. It’s filled with two eggs and two sausage patties. Fills me up and is only $3.99. For lunch my favorite is the steak in a sack. Definitely make sure you order it with cheese. I also like the camel rider. The fries are very good too.

We tried this place for the first time today, unsure of what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised with the food quality, affordability, and clean dining room. The staff were very friendly and we’re glad we tried it. We fed a family of 4 for less than $40, which is unheard of anywhere else!
