We eat here normally to go. Its good and consistent. Normally we get pizza, calzones and strombolis. This time on valentines day, my husband and i went in to eat and just leisurely enjoy our lunch. We sat inside to eat for the first time. It wasnt busy when we went. We ordered stuffed jalapeños, mozzarella sticks, and a pizza. It was good. We ate our apps slowly while chatting and our pizza came out. Naturally we couldnt eat it all and took the rest to go but it was as good as always. I normally go for their white pizza. The server was nice and time time it took for the food was about what youd expect if you wait for it made fresh and i do enjoy it fresh. I didnt snap a bunch of pics since i was enjoying our time. I appreciate this place and its consistency. Its one of our favorites.

Delicious, perfect crisp on thinner crust pepperoni / Red onion , well done pizza I was able custom as such! The banger tho was a ground beef , ricotta , red onion on a white pizza base . TOP 3 best pizzas I’ve ever had, I mean with this one you can tell Sal’s cares about their craft ! I mean the pep was too but that’s to be expected from a Real Pizza Joint. Most pizza places can’t get the pizza dough, and what well done means , right as most places think “done “ is “still doughy”. I despise having expectations for a delicious pizza and getting “mid” pizza lol! If I was a local I’d be thanking y’all every time I came by just for blessing the area with your presence of deliciousness! Legit all the gold stars ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Update:
We returned for lunch because I like giving everyone a second chance at redemption. We ordered the fried mushrooms again with a large meat lovers pizza. Place was busy when we entered but everything was super! Waitress was again on spot! We did have a different waitress this time but both times the service staff was excellent! Our food came out fast hot and super yummy! We were in and out super fast with awesome service and yummy delicious food! Thank you guys for working together to make your restaurant top notch! I just knew the famous in your title meant something!! Loved it and again thank you to all staff for the excellent lunch!!
Waited 45 minutes for 1 large pizza that never came. We decided to leave at this point. Staff did not charge us for the drinks we had nor for the deep fried mushrooms. Waitress was on point and we would like to thank her for her time. The rest was just ridiculous to say the least!
I will give them another try a different time but for now omgoodness!!

What a great neighborhood pizza joint. New York style pizza pies or by the slice. A vast menu and BAKERY. It’s close to the hospital and nearby skilled nursing unit…my family member was delighted to have a selection of slices! Thank You to all of you and the clerk with the flower clips in her hair!!!

I ordered a Cheeseteak Hoagie. Not a regular cheesesteak. Meaning it should come with lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, etc. I had told the young lady to make sure. When I received it, opened it when I got home….A disappointment! Don’t waste your time! Mamma Mia’s is better and they always get my food correct all the time! Wanted to give this place a try. Yeah, never again!

It was my first time here so I tried the steak with no cheese with pepper and onions, I also had a side order of fries. Let me start off by saying it was one of the best shaved steak sandwiches I have had in a long time. It was juicy and bursting with flavor and the bun was super soft and light. The fries were cooked to perfection and hit the spot! My fiance got the antipasto salad. She had been here many times and raves about the pizza here.

Great local place to get a slice and relax. The pizza was fantastic. My waitress was super kind and full of energy. I like this place. It makes me feel like I was back at my old favorite pizza place when I was a kid. Also the pricing was super affordable. Especially for someone who is no stranger to poverty. I will eat here again.

It was our first time dining at Sal’s, and we enjoyed every moment of it! Samantha our server, and the owner’s daughter, was an absolute gem. She curated a wonderful dining experience for us and we cannot wait to go back! Not only is the pizza delicious and affordable, but they have many different options if you are in the mood for something else! We definitely will be back.
