The food is spectacular! We’re ordering just about every Tuesday since December. Taco Tuesday is the real deal. Chicken tacos, YUM. I don’t eat pork, but I tasted a little piece, SO DELICIOUS! I don’t drink, but have heard the passion fruit margaritas are “da bomb”. I really don’t want to give comments because people are going to flock there!!! Tuesday is the new Friday. Look forward to going every week!

Very authentic Mexican food. I like to order Mexican soda, cheese quesadilla, and rice. They are a little slow. The food is always worth the wait. It wasn’t crowded and had nice Spanish music. There was booth seating, tables with chairs, and a bar area.

For the price, these tacos are amazing. I came here for Taco Tuesday, and they had 3 tacos for $6, which is a steal. I recommend trying the steak because it’s soft and juicy.
The combo of corn tortilla, cilantro, and onion really hits the spot.

Very good food. House margaritas are good. Mariachi band on Fridays. If you like spicy, you can ask for their spicy sauces as an additional side.

Really good Mexican food at a decent price. Food was fresh, chips and salsa served were made in house it seems wasn’t salted down. The salsa was great. The chimichonga was great we got one steak and one chicken, and it fill you up! Also the El burrito was filled up and worth the price. Atmosphere is is vibrant with different color walls. The staff are very nice and come to check on you. On Friday nights they have a live mariachi band that walks around playing while you eat. If you want good food, family friendly place without busting a budget then this is good place.

I’m actually disgusted with Rivera. Today me and my coworkers got 5 orders of tacos to find ROACH LEGS in not only one but THREE of the orders. I opened up my steak tacos to find a whole roach leg in there and was so shocked everyone else around me stopped eating. We started to go through the other tacos and my two other co workers also found prices of roach legs in their tacos. After one being disgusting enough I couldn’t believe that they were also in two other orders. Who knows if my other coworker (who had to eat her tacos fast to get back to work) ate bugs too?? The thought of that made her obviously uneasy. We immediately called Rivera to let them know there were literal bugs in all our food and we wanted a refund. My coworkers said when they got there for the refund, they brushed it off like it was a little mistake and told them it was “bug seasoning” that they sometimes use. Excuse me? Yeah you heard that right. Bug seasoning is something they supposedly sometime use?. Either way it’s absolutely gross and that fake excuse is what really put the nail in the coffin for me. Unless you want roaches in your food, I wouldn’t recommend this place.

Most underrated Mexican food in the area. We just found it at a friend’s recommendation not long ago, great prices. They also have a take out window.

Just need to work on their name so people know what they serve

The food is top notch, very authentic. The service is friendly and fast. Very relaxed and homey atmosphere that is hard to fake. Portions are generous and the prices are beyond reasonable. Eat in or order out, you can’t go wrong. Easily one of the best in the area. This time I ordered the chimichanga and I did not regret it. Try the ceviche with shrimp! I also love their horchata. Oh.. And beware the lovely garnish serrano pepper if you can’t handle spice.

I’ve been eating at the Famous Rivera Grill for some time now however I felt it was time to write a review. I think the food here is as good as I’ve had anywhere and the restaurant seems to be a well kept secret because I’ve never seen it crowded. I usually order the chicken fajitas since that’s my favorite. I’ve always found the chicken to be perfectly seasoned and cooked, with a generous portion of chicken, peppers and onions. One thing I really like about this place is they seem to get it without you having to ask, that you aren’t going to be able to eat all that food rolled up on only three flour tortillas. They actually give you five without having to ask. The waiters and waitresses are very friendly and the service is good. Lastly the prices are very reasonable, with good size portions. Some other Mexican restaurants in my area are just the opposite; they charge a lot and give a little. I like Famous Rivera Grill, my go to place.
