Wow the chicken is good here! I can’t believe it took me this long to find this place. I’ll definitely be coming back next time I crave fried chicken.
The owner was also super nice and energetic. It was a pleasure coming in to order, and I was happy to see him and his customers wearing masks.
I really love all the cute chickens up next to the counter. Also, the quote on the menu is hilarious. All around good feelings with this place.
As a final note, the fries were just ok, but with such yummy chicken, I still give this place ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐.

Famous? I guess the name is from the owner meeting some celebrities, but definitely not the food. We were in this area & decided to give this place a try. We ordered a 12 piece wing & potato wedges. The potatoes were mixed with wedges & steak fries, which was a no-no. The wings looked & smelled delicious but did not taste as good as they looked. The wings lacked seasonings, but the texture was on point and was cooked throughly. The owner included his “special” bbq sauce (which tasted like Open Pit bbq sauce to me), but my beau enjoyed it. There are snacks, soda, and ice cream for sale in the lobby. Also, there are prepacked sides in the refrigerated area that did not look appealing, so we did not add those to our order.

Check your order if it includes chicken breast. This place splits the breast in half, you don’t get an actual whole chicken breast. Food was ok. I have been coming to this place for a long time but it seems like the quality has really gone downhill. Definitely not worth the money.

The broasted chicken was good. Meat was juicy. The dinner roll was nothing special. The coleslaw was much too vinegary for my liking. The mashed potatoes with gravy was meh.

We visited here the day of the Super Bowl and it was just turning 6:00 p.m. I was putting in a big order for wings and the guy behind the counter complained and was very aggressive to say how many wings I could get based on him having to make me wait 30 minutes to drop fresh wings… which would never be a problem to have fresh food. But I just had questions on the quantity being a first time customer he also told me that they close at 6:00p as well… I found this place on Google and it said they were open till 8:00p. Unfortunate to have given misinformation but also to not let me feel like I could place an order and even though it was going to be a nice size order I chose to walk out due to the first impression that was given…I will never be back.

We just enjoyed a carry out holiday lunch from Famous Chicken in Farmington Hills! Thank you for delicious chicken, mouth watering ribs, salad, potato wedges and rolls. Everything was very good! I had read on other reviews that the rolls were underwhelming but they were soft and tasty. Will order again!!

I don’t understand why this place is called “Famous Chicken” unless it is famous for subpar service and food. Ordered during lunch rush(which was just me and a coworker), got argued with when I asked if I could swap mashed potatoes for fries in my meal(and was told no), and in the end was treated to the sweet, sweet sounds of microwave buttons being pressed and my food appearing a couple of minutes later.

The chicken is fresh, hot and good!!! I am very impressed. It’s a little more expensive than most chicken restaurants but worth it!

The chicken is decent the customer service is poor. The owner makes you feel like he is doing you a favor selling his food to you. His wife who doesn’t speak English very well messed up my order. I called him back and he told me the next time I come in he would not charge me for the missing item. When I returned the next week he said I should have brought my order back. I have never returned to patronize this restaurant again. This is just one incident of poor customer service and I am certain it is others.

I have been several times now and it’s consistent each time.
The chicken is crispy on the outside, super tender and juicy on the inside and flavorful! Everything tasted very fresh!
The owner is really funny and after talking to him for a few minutes, can tell he would be a fun guy at family reunions! 🙂
Bottom line is I will return, I think the prices are good and the quality is where it should be!
