Wanted a place on water. This is on the channel. Nice. Ordered 14” bbq chicken pizza. Excellent. Water to drink. Very casual. Service was very polite. The wait was ok. Even with a 20% tip, my bill was under $20!

We enjoyed our lunch. Clean and cozy dining area. Great views of the river. Nice selections on the menu. We thought the pizza was very good! Wings were baked and tasty with tangy barbecue sauce. Great beer selection! A lot of choices on tap. Definitely worth the trip.

I visit Famous Flynns once per year, but this year they fell short. In previous years, the pizza has been great. Fresh ingredients, delicious sauce and dough, nice ambience and a friendly staff. I don’t know what went wrong this time. I ordered the same pizza I always do, The Great White. Usually very good but this time it tasted like something was missing. My son’s pizza also came out cold. The combination of those two things and mediocre service makes me not want to come back next year.

Awesome pizza, great beers, nice crew, and kids loved the atmosphere. Whole family loved the chicken tenders. Newer place on river street, I hope it is around for a long time. We had a couple personal pizzas and I got the big dog. The sauce is very good and the ham topping is what other places SHOULD use. Breadsticks are addicting and the crust was so good I actually ate it for once. Whango is available which is always a bonus.

Let me just say, Famous Flynn’s is hands down the most family friendly restaurant in downtown Manistee. It’s bright, clean, and well serviced. Famous Flynn’s pizza is unusual. I can’t really put my finger on it, but something’s just different. It’s not bad – just different. I had pepperoni, sausage, black olive, and mushroom each visit. The toppings were fresh and tasty. The crust is, in my opinion, a bit flavored. The sauce is on the sweet side – probably what I consider different. Anyway, you place your order when you arrive and they bring it to your table when finished. Service is fast, and the food was hot with generous portions. They have a nice variety of beer and soft drinks, but let me warn you, the tap water is awful. I’ve had ice water from other restaurants in town without any foul smells or tastes, but for some reason, theirs is yuk. Order a bottled water instead. The bread sticks were warm and plentiful with 8 in an order. I can’t comment on their salads. I recommend FF’s for families walking around the downtown shopping district.

I got a Greek Salad for $10 with 6 ingredients. It was an average salad 🙂 The views are really nice. If you can eat pizza get the pizza, because it looked & smelled amazing. They also have a good selection of craft beer to choose from.

The pizza was excellent. The staff was fun. The bartender (we ate at the bar) was very attentive.
Side note: came with a vegan and they put extra vegetables on her salad in place of her cheese and protein.
