It was cold inside the chairs are old and wobbly. It was a birthday party of 8 reservations and the waitress said they were out of silverware and offered us plastic forks and spoons. The food was mixed up didn’t get the orders correctly and only had enough bread pudding for one person. So sad. We wanted to order more food and was told look I have other people to serve at a different table. Short staffed, short tempered, working one person too hard. Fish grease needs changing, chicken over cooked. Ribs were perfect prepared, baked beans were perfect, cornbread muffins were good, macaroni and cheese was not good very bland in taste as if it was half boiled and fake pasteurized cheese poured on it. The Mac &cheese tastes nothing like years ago our the south. Whenever you are serving a group of paying customers/ guests who made prior reservations. Alisha B. in Rockford Illinois on 02/22/26 should have been prepared with silverware, positive attitude, a smile and more staff to assist with the restaurant.

I always go here when im craving bbq, as I am typing this i am trying to order my food for tmrw . But urmm my life was changed when I found out about famous dave. Love the cornbread I put my mommy on and she fw it too. The saint louis is veryyy good if I wasnt broke i would get a full rack but I gotta ration my bucks. The employees are always nice very sweet haven’t had a rude or crazy encounter. I mostly place mobile order and its always done by the time I come pick it up. I dont know if its me or I feel like the sweet and zesty sauce changed. That was my favorite sauce. But I be munching on these ribs . Some alone time with these are soo goood after a long day of customers in your ears. When I found out the difference between saint louis and baby rack i think thats when I reached the flow state of enjoying ribs. I am for sure ordering tmrw.

Was not impressed with food portions order the pick 3 serving sizes were really small. Place was really empty especially. for a Friday night. Food was good just not enough. For a place hurting for business you might wanna look to increase the amounts especially. When you get uncharted for everything.

Came in to eat for a table of 2. The chicken sandwich did not taste normal at all. I’ve never tasted meat so bad before. Ribs were salty. The woman server had a snotty attitude. Told her nicely how the food tasted nasty and she laughed and didn’t take it seriously. Asked what did it taste like??Ma’am you knew it didn’t taste right at all before you served it to me, asking me that silly question and then laughing instead of apologizing. It tasted like roadkill. I see why a lot of the Famous Dave’s are going out of business. Very disappointed

If I could give this place a negative 1k stars, I would. Food was atrocious. Not like any Famous Daves I’ve been to and I’ve been to a lot of them. Server was a typical snowflake who doesn’t like the truth. She asked me how my meal was and I told her. In turn, she called me very rude and demanded I leave after paying for food I couldn’t eat. My service dogs wouldn’t even eat the brisket. It was that bad. Close this place.

The food was hot and delicious. Our server brought us refills before we even asked for another drink! She was extremely polite and conscientious to our needs. We attend at least three to four times a month!!!

Aubrey our server was wonderful. Haven’t been to Famous Daves for a long time. I’m really glad we stopped by. The ribs are really, really good. You could taste the smokiness all the way down to the bone on the chicken.

The only good thing about this visit was the server, who still wasn’t that attentive. But he had a friendly personality, so it helped.
It was dead so the service should have been quicker. The garnishes for my bloody Mary, were a joke. Brisket was dried out. Manager was a bit of a tool. ‘Firecracker green beans’ were horrible.

Hostess seated us. Then we sat there for a while before anyone ever came to get our drink order. The place was empty, so no reason for the wait. The food was barely eatable. At one time the food was good, not so much any more.

Food good but had gotten a pint of mash potatoes and pint of macaroni and no I didn’t touch it yet….I would have bought who ever a pint of macaroni I didn’t expect to get shorted like that after spending almost $90……
