I was so excited before my visit today. Coming in wasn’t bad we were seated right away and had high hopes. The server Kamron took our order and it was down hill from there. It’s was freezing. As the restaurant filled up we noticed more and more people waiting at empty tables for food. We waited over an hour and when we did get our food our chicken strips were so over cooked and hard. The server took them back no apology just took them back. I lost my appetite after that. The food was subpar. Nothing like Famous Dave’s at all. The server Kamron never came back to check on us and Our cups were literally empty she never came back then had the nerve to come back with a dessert menu like girl what! Check please!! We waited another 15 minutes before she came back with the check. By far the worst experience I’ve had and I’ve been coming to Famous Dave’s (not this location)over 20 years

I wanted to love this place and I have been wanting to go for a while my other half have been suggesting that we go and try their feast platter for our families that feed 4 to 6 so of course we did. It was my son‘s sixth birthday and we were just highly disappointed, the food lacked bbq flavor. It was not hot at all. It seemed like all the items had been either sitting under the warmer and it wasn’t warming or just in an area to keep it on a low temperature however nothing was hot including potato wedges which you think would come straight from the fryer. All the BBQ sauces were not good too vinegary for my taste one after another as you went I feel the more vinegar there was. Highly recommend them cleaning bottles after each setting. The Alcholic beverage I ordered was a spiked mango lemonade and I’m sorry was watered down no taste all at I couldn’t finish it I continued with water. What I found to be nice was the fried chicken(could have been hot) the well seasoned rib and the coleslaw was cold and creamy. Other than that my kids wanted burgers after this visit nobody ate too much of anything we all tried and it reminded me Of the old style country buffet for old folks.

Not a very good experience. Service was really bad. They took a long time to greet us and take our drink order. Then food came out first then our drinks. Ribs and fried chicken were way too dry for my liking. Brisket and corn muffins tasted really good, though..

I had my baby shower today and my original caterer canceled on me at the last minute. Luckily I was able to get a full catering order placed, prepped and picked up in less than 24 hours!!!!!

The service I recieved from this location was absolutley impressive. I placed an order for To-Go and while being serviced the worker I think her name tag read Famous Precious was very pleasent and very well knowldgeable of her job. becuase of her professonalism and very good customer service i will defintly be back.

Food here is typically for a famous Dave’s. What got the 2 stars in the apple pie slice I ordered. It was the most plain tasting, grocery store looking pie I have ever eaten from a restaurant.
Completely disappointing that they would even sell something like this. The bread pudding and key lime are delicious, but the apple pie needs to be taken off the menu.

We eat here regularly for lunch, these are some of the best wings I’ve eaten, very unique. The brisket platter says “Texas style” but I beg to differ, these are not as good as real Texas brisket, but it’s also not bad brisket. The service is consistently good but the food taste is inconsistent, sometimes you get a great dinner, other times it’s so so, must depend on who’s cooking. I’ve had the baked beans, corn muffin, broccoli sides are all pretty good. The ribs are very good, I think the main thing is the great tasting sauce. All their sauces are very very good. I recommend eating here, you’ll be pleased.

I would like to see Famous Dave’s. Ake a comeback to the original dedication of maintaining the recipe which made this place famous. Wilber Beans should have brisket and hot link in the beans but they removed hot link which is when I stopped going to Famous Dave’s. I wanted to share that I learned to my delight at least this location will serve the original hot link not the jalapeno sausage which is sub par and like the nasty Texas BBQ which thinks bolonga sausage is the same as hot link sausage. It isn’t anything close to hot link which has a course texture and made with hearty cuts of meat. The seasoning of famous Dave is what has always set them apart from others and is absolutely the reason he became legendary for BBQ at award winning degrees. This place is special because it was self evident the focus on good tasting BBQ which involves smoking and grilling to kiss on a grill the way home made BBQ is served. Midwest definition of BBQ is smoked and kissed on the grill most southern BBQ in my opinion isn’t BBQ but instead just smoked meats. Without the grill it isn’t BBQ but bland tasting side dishes ruin the restaurant meal experience. Doral Florida has hot link and the full famous Dave’s menu with steaks burgers pasta and seafood something I felt every famous Dave’s location should have offered because then the world would have a chance to see what the greatest idea of BBQ can be and since restaurants don’t even try to impress and want top dollar it makes me love the fact famous Dave’s offers the closest thing to home cooking where the focus isn’t just the meats but every single item offered on their menu. Hot Link being removed was bad news because it caused the Beans to change and once legendary restaurant cave in to corporate greed and accounting cost cuts is the moment people lose their passion and zeal for what they have grown up expecting and crave. That behavior is one famous Dave’s avoided for decades while other restaurants were moving into oblivion and working to make themselves obsolete because of Famous Dave’s does what all other good ones before them did they won’t be anything special anymore. 99% of this nations BBQ is lazy cooking and nothing special at all. There are many people who say the run of the mill BBQ is 5 stars but I would have to say it’s because the standard of BBQ nationally are low either because people are used to government cafeteria taste less food or I was born with taste buds. Also Famous Dave’s sells dinner plates and lunch plates not BBQ by the pound with taste less sides.

Ordered hot links from the website. Drove twenty minutes across town to pick it up. I am handed my food and check it in the parking lot. It is quite obviously some of type of sausage and not the one I ordered. I go in and they state that they no longer sell what I ordered, saying the last one sold 30 mins ago. Well my order was placed over an hour ago… But aside from that no one called me to inform me of this to save myself a trip, and no one said anything when they handed me the clearly incorrect food and let me leave with it. I guess I was just suppose to eat what they gave me as I wouldn’t have discovered it until home as no one was going to say a thing to me directly until I discovered it myself. Refund took a ridiculous amount of time. Absolutely no compensation for my wasted time or poor customer service.

The food was disgusted. Food was really not hot when i got it. I will not go here again. I wish I would got my money back. All their lemonade taste like Aldi’s very nasty. The food didn’t have no flavor. Look like they baked the ribs. I would not go here again. Don’t spend your money here. It was so bad I asked for a refund but I didn’t get one. So I hope they like my post. They greens taste like canned greens. Mac and cheese didn’t have no flavor, ribs taste like they was baked, sausage was so dry. Don’t eat here.
