Went here Jan 31, 2026, 4:55pm, normally a busy time but not that day so good for us! Ate here about 4 times in 2021-2023. Unusually pretty filling with VERY TENDER MEATS & GREAT Sauces! Today was different. Spouse ordered the Chicken & Beef Southside RIB TIPS, but had PORK ONLY, so she settled for that. I got the Georgia Chopped Pork & St Louis-style Spareribs. Since Two diff meats for each, was a SPENDY $21.50 each, & $7 for 2 drinks – WOW. I had a $50 Gift Card but STILL OWED MORE so $55.14 (like a Fancy Restaurant, but obviously it’s not). The veggies were pretty good but the MAIN reason to GO THERE is the MEATS. THe Pork was a very small portion on top of bread or toast, apparently to LOOK like getting more but not fooled. The RIBS were almost ROCK HARD, hard to cut with the butter knife, did NOT FALL OFF THE BONE like one has at a mediocre Ribs place or diner, I had to use a sharp steak knife at home later since TOO MUCH WORK to try & separate the meat & Fat from the Bones. Wife just said it was ‘ok’ what she had – was hoping for beef & didnt care much for pork ribs. SOOOO many other places to eat for $50+ dollars or LESS, so we WONT BE BACK. I’ve complained one other time there yrs ago & they were pretty reluctant to do anything so I didnt bother this time. Just wont be back. If you are ok with spending $50, go to Olive Garden, Apple Bees, or even Rack Shack & go to the movies later – $$ better spent. No wonder not many cars or people there at rush hour time.

Feels nostalgic walking in the doors. Back to the 90s. The interior is fairly the same as I remembered. Walk in, order, grab your drink, and sit down. For those with allergies there is a list you can find if you Google it. Very little is gluten free but they do have good options for dairy free and egg free. I do have to laugh though because they didn’t take off the buttered bread, which isn’t mentioned on the menu. Lastly, Dave sold out. Nice guy and I don’t blame him but hopefully they don’t ruin what he started.

Excellent food. Came out quick and hot. No servers here so it’s a but different setup then other famous Dave’s I’ve been to. It worked out well and was efficient, though.

Very busy place and popular. Great varying barbeque sauces with a large variety of meats. I had chicken sandwich with sassi sauce with side of broccoli, extra side Mac and cheese, and banana pudding dessert. Food served very quickly. It tastes great! This place was hopping on the 4th. I like the way you order and pay first and then find. Table. Will definitely go here again…

Always enjoy Famous Dave’s restaurants. Had the 2 meat of brisket and jalapeño sausage with steamed broccoli and mashed potatoes. The jalapeño sausage was delicious and brisket tender if a bit rubbery. The broccoli was tender but still firm and the potatoes were good but may have been sitting a tad too long in the warmer. Overall a good experience, would visit again.

If legendary barbecue had a home stadium, it would be Famous Dave’s. Walking in feels like stepping into a temple built for smoked perfection—where ribs reign supreme and every aroma whispers, “You’re about to make the best decision of your day.”
Let’s start with the ribs, because they deserve their own national holiday. They don’t just fall off the bone—they glide off like they’re trying to impress you (and they always do). The caramelized bark, the smoky depth, the tenderness… it’s like the pitmasters made a deal with the BBQ gods.
The sauces? A full-on flavor symphony. Rich, tangy, sweet, spicy—whatever mood you’re in, there’s a bottle that understands your life journey. Mixing the sauces should be considered a sport, and I’m ready for the championship.
Then there’s the cornbread. I don’t know what kind of magic they fold into it, but it’s the type of cornbread that makes you rethink every cornbread you’ve had before. Fluffy, warm, slightly sweet—like a hug from someone who believes in you.
And the service? Impeccable. Everyone acts like they’re personally invested in your happiness—and somehow, they are. Drinks stay full, plates stay warm, and smiles stay genuine.
Bottom line: Famous Dave’s doesn’t just serve food. They serve moments, memories, and meals worth writing poetry about. If you leave hungry, that’s on you. If you leave happy, that’s on them.
Special thanks to Mariyah, Alex, Kim, Eduardo, Ethan, Josh, Sean, Jenna and the whole kitchen

Good was picked up did not find in. Good quality was great.
Had a coupon from a previous mistake. They looked me up and found my invitation right away with no issues.

Pork was good. The brisket just tasted cheap. Sides were ok. Overall, we didn’t feel the food was worth the price. Haven’t eaten there in a while. Almost no interaction with staff other than putting the order in at the register. Disappointing experience compared to what I was used to.

It was our first time at this location. My husband and I sat there for more than 10 minutes unattended. It’s not that the restaurant was crowded and we were impatient; only three tables were occupied. We didn’t even got the menu nor water. After 12 minutes we decided to leave and two of the staff members said “thank you”. I was shocked; didn’t they realized they didn’t attend to us?
Thank you, I guess.
