Everything was just mediocre. Nothing spectacular. Food was fine. Service was fine. To sum up the whole visit in one word would be ‘fine.’
Bathrooms were a bit dark not good lighting for my preference. They were just adequately cleaned.
Staff was nice but not really personable.
Probably would not come back to be honest. Unless I had a strong edge for BBQ.

We had a beautiful dinner this evening. Katelyn was our server. Absolutely top notch! She made a few suggestions for our meals which is always nice. Checked often while tending to several other families as well. She made our family feel right home. Shout-out’s to the Cooking Staff and Management as well. Would definitely go back!.

Ordered carry out for my kids at 5:57 pm. Order was scheduled to be picked up by 6:18 pm. Didn’t make it up there until almost 6:35. My spouse goes in and is told they don’t have our order in their system. They look it up by the order number… Turns out they forgot to make our food? They go in and make it… And bring out the wrong order. They go back, make it again. He finally leaves at 7:17 pm. We were trying to go to a movie at 7:20. Obviously, we missed it. The kids finally get to eat though. Their food is tough and cold in the middle, and burnt on the outsides. They offered us nothing. No money back. No apologies. $60 for 2 meals. We’re never going back. I get that it’s a chain restaurant, I get that it’s Taylor. I understand that it’s a busy Saturday night. But all in all, this is unacceptable.

I ordered the Brisket dinner and my where ordered the rib fill slab and hers is twice the protein for a $5!dollar difference. I used to love coming here but the portions have halved in the 2 years. Ribs was $39 and the brisket was $25.

I got a slab of baby back ribs, and brisket eggrolls. They were good, but both were a little burnt. The meat wast dried out but almost. I’ve recently dined in & got this & it was perfect. I’ve got take before from here & it was cooked right. I dont know what Happened this time but I’ll give it another try. I don’t like anything pass golden brown.

Oh boy I apologize in advance for the length of this review… My party of 2 walked in, we had to wait just a couple minutes for a few tables to be cleared, no biggie good food, busy place. We get seated to a table near the back of the restaurant and we wait for our waitress.. and we wait and wait. Finally she shows up, doesn’t apologize that it took her just over 10 minutes to even come ask what we’d like to order. I ordered an alcoholic beverage, my boyfriend just a pop. We then wait and wait again his pop gets there about another 10 minutes later and my drink about 20. We then at that time order our meal and salads. Wouldn’t ya know we sat there for another 15ish minutes for our salads to come out, still no apologies for any wait times, his drink was empty she didn’t ask if he wanted a refill, nothing. About another 25 goes by and here comes our food finally! The food was absolutely delicious I won’t argue that. But our waitress was absolutely the worst, by the time we got our food the restaurant was about to close and there was almost no one in this place , even though when we got there we had to wait for tables to be cleared it was so busy. There was only a handful of customers in there still trying to eat their food they received pretty late, to which I seen most just immediately ask for boxes. Worst experience I’ve ever had here and hope it never happens again.

My mom and I stopped by Taylor’s Famous Dave’s BBQ restaurant after church for Sunday dinner, and we were both blown away by both the food & the service! We ordered the BBQ ribs with that perfectly smoked BBQ sauce, along with creamy mac and cheese, delicious coleslaw, and crispy French fries that were seasoned just right — not too salty. We also loved that they offer a great selection of non-alcoholic beverages, which made the meal even more enjoyable and family-friendly. Everything came out hot, fresh, and absolutely mouthwatering.
I believe what really made our visit special was our waitress, Jenn. She was absolutely wonderful — super sweet, kind, and genuinely down-to-earth. Jenn went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and checked on us with such a warm beautiful smile. Her friendly attitude and top-notch customer service truly made the xperience one to remember. She’s really the kind of person who makes you feel right at home, and we’ll definitely be asking for her the next time we come back!

I came here today for the first time, never been here before, but with the signs saying “The best BBQ in Detroit” I figured it would be a nice little stop after Halloween shopping.
Overall my experience was pretty mid, the best part of my service was my waitress, who was amazing with her time, always checking on us and making sure we have everything, as well as well as refills in a timely manner.
I do have to say though, the food was Mid, I got the Rib tips, with center cut, which was $3 extra making my plate cost about $20. I have two children who got macaroni and cheese, and fries, I was highly disappointed when I saw “KRAFT” Mac in cheese in a supposedly “Highly rated” and quite pricey BBQ place. I paid 8 dollars, for my kids meals each, for what should be $2 Kraft boxed Mac and cheese.
My friend got the catfish fingers, and he said it was good, however their sauces are not spicy at all, we tried Devils Spit, and sweet and sassy BBQ and I’d have to say I wouldn’t give Devils spit a Three on the spice. It was definitely more of a one or two spice rating. Next time I might try Wilburs Revenge.
Alas my trip wasn’t horrible but the meat on the ribs and the wings we got were hardly tender, rather very chewy and fatty and hard to tear apart, they didn’t melt in my mouth like I expected them to, especially since I specifically asked for center cut for a more tender rib. I’d give it a 3/5 and the service was a 5/5, I would come again, but it’d have to be close by, it’s not a place I would consider travel worthy, and I think their title of being the best is a bit of an exaggeration. Especially if they can serve Kraft Mac and Cheese for 8 dollars.

Date night with the wife. Their Pineapple Habanero sauce was the best. Too bad limited time. Was bummed we didn’t see the BBQ nachos anymore. Been sometime so I’m sure they are off the menu. Best of the night? The Margaritas… Better than any Mexican restaurant we have been to. Fully worth the price.

Spent more than $100 on this platter had 2 ribs and looked and tasted like left over brisket pieces , this other dinner had “chicken tenders” they call it they tasted so old couldn’t even bite into it was not comfortable feeding it to my kids just by looking at it you can tell it’s old . Never ordering from them again , literally a waste of money . Huge regret
