First time at Famous Dave’s and boy did they spoil us!! The food was amazing and we can’t wait to go back!! Everything hot, fresh and fabulous!! Charnelle was our server and she exceeded all our expectations, guiding us through the apps and entrees, keeping our drinks full and the last fill ups were in Togo cups!! She was excellent!! Got the famous bread pudding Togo and a couple of boxes for those big portions we just couldn’t finish!! Famous Dave’s lived up to its name for sure!!

My husband came in and were definitely not disappointed!!! The view of the water was beautiful even though its frozen over! Was pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness of the restaurant and our server Dawn had a constant smile on her face. She recommended the cheese curds and brisket which we ordered and they were amazing! She kept our glasses full and we were full by the time we left. We will definitely be back thanks to Dawn’s amazing service! You are lucky to have her! Thank you for a very tasty meal!

We stopped in for a late lunch during our stay at Castaway Bay, and Famous Dave’s was the perfect, convenient choice. We practically had the whole place to ourselves, which made for a really relaxed and enjoyable family meal.
Our server, Nichole, made the experience truly special. She was so warm, welcoming, and incredibly attentive—checking on us just the right amount and keeping everything running smoothly with genuine care. Her positivity was contagious!
It was our son’s birthday, and not only did she bring him a complimentary sundae (which thrilled him!), but she also surprised our two little girls with their own sundaes at no charge. That gesture of kindness was above and beyond and made the whole family feel celebrated.
The food was excellent and a great value. We enjoyed the tender brisket and flavorful roast chicken, and our birthday boy loved his burger. Our girls cleaned their plates of mac and cheese and chicken tenders, which is always a win!
Thanks to Nichole’s outstanding service and the great meal, we left full, happy, and with a wonderful family memory.

The hostess greated us by telling us how many tables they had severed that evening, but the waitress was rather nice. The “texas Brisket” was oddly stretchy and the ceasar salad appeared to have been sitting around the kitchen for quite some time. However, the ribs were good and so was the cornbread muffins.

First time in Ohio with my family & this is the first restaurant we sit in. Sierra was such a nice server! She was attentive, friendly & on point with all of our needs. We were sat within seconds of walking in which was a plus. The bread pudding was amazing!!!

1st and last time I ever go to a Famous Dave’s. 1 hour wait and 1 hour wait for food. Food quality was very poor and my burger my messed up and sent it back only to come back with the same burger just added another burger patty and wanted to call it good and GM excuse was he was new to this location. This is on Valentines day non the less, this store should have had everyone work because it was clearly understaffed. The 2 tables next and behind us also had several issues. Never again!

We had such an amazing dinner tonight at famous Dave’s, service was quick, food was delicious and the server Nicole was above and beyond all expectations. Her positive attitude, humor, and attention to us was just amazing. She is an amazing employee that any company would love to have…and the holiday decorations in the entire restaurant were so beautiful . Especially all the snowflakes in the large room!

Wish they didn’t change locations, it feels way less like a BBQ join and more of cooperate cedar point. Side note it’s not Halloween yet but it’s always fun to see spider webs while you watch TV. That said the food is still great and fast service

This Famous Dave’s was so yummy 3 kids loved it very much ..the only thing no bartender so mom could not have a birthday drink.. a manager tried to make a chocolate martini but they put it over ice and it tasted like it was watered down so it was returned yech… like that it was attached to Castaway.. views of the Bay were beautiful even in Ohio’s -10 weather
