Nice retro feel diner with a Mexican twist with all sorts of 50s memorabilia throughout. Serving breakfast all day and also offers a hamburger eating challenge .
Service was fast and friendly and the restroom was clean.
We ordered the Sinatra’s breakfast , 2 eggs, 2 bacon, 2 sausage, 2 pancakes or French toast, and a side of grits.
Also ordered was the Monte Crisco, ham, turkey, cheese and Swiss on French toast.
The Sinatra’s breakfast was decent, but the deli sliced meat on the Monte Cristo had been grilled, and the quality and taste were not great. The French toast was too soft; needed more time on grill to brown. The sandwhich was also dusted with powdered sugar which for me did not work.
Shared parking lot with other business in strip mall style setting.

The place is overwhelmed it has so many decorations that to my taste is too much but it does looks good. The young boy took my order and was very attentive of me during my stay. The price was very good for scramble eggs, turkey bacon, potatoes, small orange juice, coffee which I believe was free based on a huge sign I saw the minute I entered. Just for $12.99. At first when I entered I was afraid that the food was no good because there were nobody there but me at 8:30am for breakfast so I thought maybe the food is no good, but the food was good. The service was good

The Famous 50s Diner in Bridgeport, CT rolled out an absolutely gut busting burger challenge with few victors to its name. This challenge features a gauntlet of 6 unique and signature burgers, a large side of fries (I opted for sweet potato fries), and a house-made milkshake (chocolate PB in my case ). Completing this entire spread in under 25 mins earns you the meal for free, 100 dollars in cash, and a commemorative t-shirt. Failure results in a $100 sized deficit in your wallet . Only defeated by professional eaters Dan Kennedy and Molly Schuyler, I know I had my work cut out for me. My bud Basketlockerball took the long trip down all the way down to tackle this one alongside me. Having him there working on the challenge at the same time definitely alleviated my anticipatory anxiety and kept me motivated as I plowed through the beastly bolus of beef. After much munching, I cleared my platter and milkshake glass in an even 22:20 earning me all the prizes and a complimentary dessert, in the form of a second milkshake, this time blueberry .
Huge thank you to Pedro and his son at Famous 50s for not only cooking up such an amazing spread and unique burgers and milkshakes, but for welcoming us like family and treating us to a great hang . You guys rock!!!

Awesome panini! Great service and clean. We will be coming back to try out more. Great job love the fries and the Cuban is fantastic. They make the pork right there and slice it. You get that garlicky crust on the outside. I could only eat half. See you soon!

Food was decent but the service is top notch. Will definitely be back and try other items. Pancakes were a little dense for me. Prices are good.

The food was incredible and the staff were so kind. The 50s decor is also really cool. I loved that they had Iron Man on one of the TVs but had it set to black and white instead of color. Be prepared to take home leftovers. I got one of the burgers and it was massive. So delicious though. I’m glad my husband and I stopped in here.

I’ve been going to diners since the 70s. This is as good as it gets. 5-Star food and service. Perfect classic diner food. And yes, they have disco fries. Don’t miss the shakes!

I’m surprised I’ve never been here. The decor is totally 50’s black and white, and it’s kind of drab slow music when you go in the morning. The TV is set to Old Westerns. I had a pastrami reuben and fries. My bestie had eggs and pastrami sandwich with homefries. The food was awesome. The service was good but slow it wasn’t crowded, and the simple order took longer than it should have. I would definitely go again because the menu has some things I would like to try..

My wife and I came here to celebrate our 10th anniversary, and it was perfect. The atmosphere is so bright and vibrant in a really fun way it truly felt like stepping right into the 50s. The decor, music, and little details made it all feel so authentic.
We came for breakfast, and it was absolutely delicious. The pancakes were fluffy, the eggs were cooked perfectly, and the coffee was some of the best we’ve had. This diner is a true gem, and we can’t wait to come back!
