The goat light soup was extremely under-seasoned and mostly bones, with very little meat. I had to add my own seasoning to make it edible. For the price charged, this was disappointing and not representative of what light soup is supposed to be. More like diet broth with goat memories

I stopped by for lunch and asked for the jollof with chicken, since I’d never eaten here before. The woman who took my order was extremely polite and patient, and was willing to laugh along with my dumb joke about how I, a white guy in Columbus, had no idea how spicy her idea of “spicy” was. So she put the spicy sauce in a container on the side, and I tried it with the rice and the chicken when I got home. I wouldn’t call it mild, but it wasn’t painfully hot, either. I loved the taste, too, so I only regret not getting more. The fried chicken was as good as any other I’ve had, and the rice was fantastic.
For the price ($17 normally, $15 when I got it for lunch), it’s a great value. I couldn’t finish it all, so I was left with another serving of rice to eat later. I look forward to visiting again sometime.

I ordered my food through doordash the meat was bland, tough and lacking seasoning. The only thing that was good and actually seasoned was the coleslaw and the jollof rice. I ordered three different meats 3 different meats to add to my meal and everything totaled out to 40 dollars the meat was underportioned for the price that I paid I definitely got more rice than anything. I usually don’t go overboard but if I could have the opportunity I would have loved to have my money back. I honestly feel like I was taken advantage of and robbed for what this place gave me. This is unacceptable

Love it!! I’ve never had African food before the lady was very nice and explained everything to me. I recommend you check it out. The goat was a little chew for me but that’s a me thing not their fault. I will be going back again!!

I think I’m going to have to try them again. The flavors of the food were okay. Wasn’t that bold? Rich flavor. I did try the fried chicken. It didn’t have that. I’m more of a southern fried chicken guy. Maybe this is African style? I don’t know but it didn’t have a lot of flavor to it. A lot of bold flavors. The rice was okay. Everything was okay. Didn’t seem to really jump off the plate to me but I’ll try it again and maybe try something different

I will never come here again such a rip off. I ordered peanut soup and it is so watery not very flavorful at all got the tilapia and it’s overcooked not very flavorful plantains taste like frozen plantains. I asked the cashier if the food was good here she told me she didn’t know. I asked her what’s in the peanut soup she couldn’t even tell me.

These people literally sent me 2 pieces of meat for $22 .. smh. I usually buy goat soup from another restaurant but today I wanted to try something new. This is what I get. I give it 3 star because the meat was cooked well and their rice portion is a lot. Not that I’m a fan of that. But two pieces of meat is just crazy and the taste is not anything extra
