What a nice clean spot with excellent service.
We ordered a blackberry margarita and a martini made from tequila, Kahlúa, and Bailey’s. Both drinks were great as well as the lunch fajitas.

Food was excellent. Ask for the spicy salsa, it’s one if the best I’ve had. Regular salsa was relatively bland. You can also mix the two if you don’t like it too spicy. Had the chicken, bacon, chorizo and onion dish which wad awesome… but it was greasy given the chorizo and bacon. I’d go back for sure. Got crowded on a Thursday, but we’re served (a table of 5) very quickly. Daily drink/food specials is particularly nice, and sort of guarantees freshness. Ordered special margaritas and steak fajitas – steak was grisly, but nicely seasoned. Everyone at the table shared, and got the large guacamole for the endless chips. Cool atmosphere with mesmerizing murals – loved the food, atmosphere and staff. New favorite Mexican!

One of the best restaurants my wife and I have been to. The staff was terrific. The food arrived quickly and was absolutely phenomenal. I cannot say enough about how good it was. I ordered the Birria tacos and my wife got ACP. Hands down the best we’ve gotten anywhere. We will be back.

The best Mexican food I have had in North Carolina! And the margaritas are great. We had the dip trip appetizer (cheese dip, bean dip, guacamole) and it was so fresh and delicious. Our awesome waiter Jose recommended the pollo famosos and it was delicious! We also ordered the ACP which was wonderful. This restaurant is a must if you come to Albemarle!
