All these years I’ve drove by here. And a lover of fried delights. I assume the store was just never open when I needed it. I’m glad I came in, for the enjoyment of my tastebuds. I ordered a four piece white meat meal. Everything was pretty tasty. The lady helping me wasn’t bad either. But she did properly tell me that the dining room was closed. Assuming I was going to eat there. I was just checking to see what the meal looked like. There was one guy who came in who was an apparent regular. That was real touchy feely in my face. If you’re craving fried chicken. I would go here again.

The chicken and everything was so good…I’m not usually a fan of gizzards, but I tried theirs and fell in love. The prices are reasonable and the portion sizes are HUGE. I ordered 3 slices of sweet potato pie, the slices were so big I ended up with 3/4 of the whole pie!! I just found my new favorite place to eat!

First they saved us on being the only chicken place open around here on Saturday valentines night at 7 pm. At least the only place we could get food at. The owner is super nice and took care of our large order. I can see why they have the highest rating in the area..wish it was higher as 4.3 isn’t really fair for this place. Popeyes has 2.3 stars and should probably be closer to 1 star. See you next times!

I love this place. I often stop in to pick up shicken livers and biscuits for my dinner. It’s a bit difficult to enter and exit, but the owner is always very helpful and friendly. I always feel welcome and that makes my meal even better. She is also on GrubHub, but I only live a block away, so no need for delivery fees.

Good food. Good prices. I love their Chicken Livers & Chicken. BUT wanting something different. I tried the Fried Shrimp. Unfortunately I was not impressed & the cocktail sauce was terrible. It tasted as if they added too much ketchup to it. Still love ordering from them though. As a matter of fact. I just ordered the Chicken Livers & Fries an hour ago! Lol…

The best gizzards I’ve *ever* had – no question or exaggeration. Tender, actually tender, & mild but quite flavorful. Not greasy. Even if you’ve never been a fan: try them. (Great w/ Tapatios hot sauce or Sriracha; please don’t ruin them w/ Frank’s.)
Hush puppies were very tasty but a tad doughy, however that doesn’t budge the rating from a 5⭐.
