If you want homemade food, look no further. Family Table Restaurant is a local and family owned. They greet you upon arrival, treat you like family, and most importantly feed you like family. They have the best well seasoned chicken in town. Would recommend to anyone.

This is definitely NOT a buffet. Buffet prices for non buffet eating. $20 with ice tea. Service is on plastic plates. Steam table and server fills your plate with your choices. Selection is for one price for one meat and a higher price for two meats. One original trip only. Free iced tea refills. The food is definitely delicious. I had fried chicken, okra, mashed potatoes (no gravy), meatloaf (very moist), and cornbread. The waiter was very courteous and very attentive. Payment was accepted by credit card. The atmosphere is a little lacking. The entrance is from the road side, not the kitchen by parking where we accidentally entered. Poor signage even viewing from the road.

Family Table is a nice family owned restaurant with the best home cooked food in Victoria… they are super sweet and friendly… only open 3 days a week so it’s worth to try it when they’re open… don’t hesitate!!! It’s a must try kind of good!!!

We were driving through town and thought we’d give Family Table a try. We were pleasantly surprised by the delicious food (crispy, juicy fried chicken, tasty chili, homemade fries, banana pudding)and exceptionally friendly staff. I agree with other reviews – the waiter was definitely one of the hardest working we’ve experienced! We will definitely be back!
