This was a nice little family style breakfast and lunch restaurant with a good size menu. I would have given them a 5 star rating but when I was eating their chicken rice soup there was a small sharp bone that punctured the roof of my mouth and when I brought it to the servers attention they just kind of blow it off like oh well. Didn’t seem to be concerned. Food was good though.

This is a great gem, just off the highway. Near a truck stop gas station, it has a friendly, bustling atmosphere and a huge menu. The food reminds us of visits to our down-country family: nothing too fancy, but home style and fast. We saw people hugging servers and waving across the restaurant to each other, which means it’s a local favorite too. The service was GREAT. We loved it and will stop back again.

Great people with good food. Portions are great and prices are very fair. I had their steak and a baked potatoe, enjoyed it all. The steak was not a top cut but for the price very acceptable.

I heard about Family Table from a friend. As soon as they mentioned “Gyro for breakfast” I was hooked. Drove 500 miles to get Gyro Meat with Eggs and Hash from their breakfast menu and it did not disappoint.
Excellent service, great coffee, friendly smiles, AND GYRO FOR BREAKFAST!!!

We had a salad each for starters.
Our entrees – I got Chicken Alfredo & hubby got Shrimp Alfredo.
BOTH were excellent!
The chicken was grilled & not overly done or dry… the Alfredo was creamy & just: perfect.
We couldn’t finish it all but we sure tried!
We thoroughly enjoyed this restaurant & will be back if we come this way again.
Truck Drivers: Parking is next door at the Road Ranger- just a short walk to the restaurant.

We went here based on the reviews. Our opinion is that it’s just a little above average. My steak was well done and I asked for medium. My husbands Gyro he said was excellent, they just needed help with the sauce.

Down home, country feel with super friendly people. Felt like family and was super glad we decided to stop here. Omelette was great. Chicken and shell (noodles) soup was great. Spaghetti was great. I’d gladly come back again and again.

I’m a Professional Truck Driver and happened to be in Brazil, IN for the weekend and wanted to try something different for a restaurant.
I checked around and found Family Table Restaurant and I wanted to try the experience.
I was not disappointed with the choice as the restaurant is very homey and the team were very friendly. One thing that stood out is the big Senior Citizens patronage to the restaurant and that says a lot.
The restaurant menu is very impressive and I had a hard time picking what I wanted to eat because everything looked delicious and yummy. I finally settled on a beef skillet that came with 2 eggs and enjoyed every bit of it.
I will definitely visit again next time I’m in town.

OK Mother Truckers…if you shutdown at Road Ranger here…its just a hoot and a holler walk from the parking lot to this restaurant. Tired of the Iron Skillets and Country Prides? COME HERE! My first impression of restaurant positive. Apparently they just tarred and striped their parking lot. Looks great and good to know owner makes the investment in making place look good. Lots of Senior Citizens eat here. Families too. Place is very clean, including restroom. Service friendly with smiles! I ordered off the Senior Citizen menu. Liver and onions cooked to order was great. Had a nice baked potatoe and small salad with Honey Mustard Dressing. Smaller portion, but just what I needed. I ordered a slice of Apple Pie to take to my rig. The pies are not made on premises. It wasn’t bad. Total bill $15.94 including tip. COME HERE GUYS & GALS and get a healthy meal!
