Vegetable pizza was amazing can’t possibly ask for something better.
The food was delicious, the mozzarella sticks were fried to perfection and wings were spectacularly seasoned.
Service was excellent, server fulfilled our needs without hesitation.

I will NOT be ordering from this place again! Ordered a large half pepperoni & half cheese pizza. Get a whole pizza full of pepperoni & there’s more grease on that pizza then slime in a snail to give you a heart attack. Then you go back to get a “comped” cheese that’s small. They didn’t bother to cut it. All around a terrible experience & will NOT be returning and will most certainly NOT be recommending this place to anyone. If I could give them ZERO stars, I would without a second thought!

Although I prefer thin crust brick oven pizza, this is as good as Greek style pizza gets. Their Extravaganza pizza is the equivalent to the “Special” pizza found at most establishments. I ordered pickup, so no rating for atmosphere.

Ordered a small vegetarian pizza and a small Caesar salad. They don’t do smalls for the Caesar but made an exception this time which honestly made my day. They were so friendly and wholesome. The pizza was NOT greasy at all and had the perfect amount of sauce and toppings. Honestly this just beats a lot of other top of the list pizza places and to boot it’s right in town. Really hope it stays for a while.

I came to visit Connecticut with my family and I was looking for a small business with good pizza. I came across the family owned and ran pizzeria in Broad Brook. I’m quite a big foodie I love trying new food and places. I always review restaurants under 3 characteristics. Food, Service, Ambience.
Starting off with the food. I ordered a Chicken Broccoli Alfredo, Large Pepperoni, and Large Hawaiian. I am a big lover of Alfredo and I have tried many in my time. This Alfredo is certainly one I hold very highly in my rating. It has excellent flavor profile. You can taste the garlic, the black pepper and the butter. It is smooth in the pallet it is also very creamy and cheesy. Next off the pizza. It’s a pan style pizza that is very crispy and a crunchy crust. The flavor of the sauce is very good. You can taste the high quality ingredients. Everything is very fresh and good.
The service was great. We got greeted once we walk through the doors. We sat down and Joel the server brought us some menus. I can say they have a simple but very delicious menu. There are all types of food from Pastas, Calzones, Pizzas, and even Quesadillas. Our drinks were brought out to us. From the time that we placed our order in a total of about 20mins passed which is a decent time for the size of our order. My whole experience was phenomenal with the service.
The ambiance of the restaurant is what sets each restaurant apart. The pizzeria felt very homey. It felt small and cozy. This feel is what sets it apart from big chains. It shows that Family Slices cared for their customers wants and desires. It shows that they will go to the last measure to insure your satisfaction.
All in all I highly recommend people to try them out for themselves. As a food reviewer I am always wanting to try new places especially local businesses. Everything was phenomenal and I will definitely be returning with my family next time I’m in Connecticut.

New favorite pizza place.. lifelong resident of the area 50 years plus it’s about time they got a good little family pizza place in the area there are a few but this one’s really good . Pizza was exactly the way I think it should be golden cheese fresh dough and the sauce is not heavy no heartburn great job keep up the good work Sergio..
