This place is a gem for Southern foods that does not disappoint you. The proportions are very generous. The name of their restaurant is accurate- delicious family secret recipes. A very friendly atmosphere. Highly recommended. I had Wings and Fish along with their yams and cole slaw.

I walked in and placed a takeout order. The staff was very nice. My order was correct and hot. I saw another customer receive their pigs feet meal and I had to get it. The pigs feet were absolutely perfect! The Mac and cheese was delicious and creamy. The yams were a bit sweet but still good. I will be coming back when I don’t want to cook!!! Great job Littleton family!!!

Awesome soul food. I had the Jumbo Chicken wing dinner with Collard Greens and Mac and Cheese. My homeboy got the fried pork chops and those were good too. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. I willd definitely make my way back here when I’m in the area.

So happy we found this place on a whim. We always try to visit the “popular” soul food restaurants when we come down to Richmond area from Northern VA; you know, the Mama J’s, Croaker Spot, etc, but that wait is ALWAYS an easy hour or more. Not today!

Spectacular. Had the smothered pork chops and they were the best pork chops I’ve ever had. I’d bathe in that gravy! The cornbread was like light and fluffy corn clouds from heaven. Highly recommended.

I am married to a black man. We were in Richmond to buy a car. Came in. The guy who took our order must can’t hear because he brought me chicken wings and I ordered shrimp and then told that was what I ordered which I didn’t. Food took a very long time for US. A African American family of 4 came in after us. Got all there food and our food comes out wrong after theirs. If YOURE WHITE DONT GO! It’s obvious here THATS THE SECRET. BLACKS ONLY. But the sweet tea is very good!
