An honest to goodness no frills diner experience with great service. You can feel the heart in this restaurant as the hostesses are greeting the regulars by name. Wow! A truly unexpected hidden gem in Duluth! Everything about this place was awesome. When you walk in, it’s like stepping back in time to your cute Grandmother’s house. It’s nostalgic! We were greeted instantly by several employees, all with genuine smiles. My husband and I had our two year old son with us, and everyone was so kind to him! A few employees came over and entertained him, made him smile. So helpful when he was having a mini meltdown. I noticed too, such a family atmosphere. Everyone that worked there was smiling and laughing, chatting with every customer, knowing many by name. It was undeniable, you could feel the strong family atmosphere. I haven’t seen anything like that in years. True family like service. This blew me away! And the food was super tasty! I was impressed. Like I said, everything about our visit was great. Can’t wait to come back. Again I just want to mention how incredible the service was. Truly unexpected and wonderful.

First and probably last time here. The food is good but the atmosphere not so welcoming, at least at the time I came. I placed an online order so I expected to walk in pick it up and be out. There was someone closing out a tab with the host when I first I arrived so I got in line after them right in front of the host then afterwards he immediately turned to the left of him to close out an entire party of least 7 or more people when I could clearly see my order right behind him so I patiently waited until I was greeted by a sweet lady who was a server. She got my food and drinks and made sure I felt okay and her service was great so I truly appreciated her but it was definitely giving me racist vibes, from my perspective.
