I came here in the midafternoon. It was completely empty.
The server, was helpful. I chose, instead of getting the all you can eat option, I ordered ala cart.
I got the chicken with mixed veggies, fried rice, hot and sour soup and an iced tea.
The soup came out first. It was really, really good hot and sour. The flavors were balanced and you could tell that someone put care into the preparation. Note that they only serve a two-person portion, so I had to take some home.
The the fried rice and the chicken/veggies came. Also really tasty. The chicken was cooked perfectly.
I appreciate small, family run places. The entire meal just hit the spot. I’ll definitely be back.

The Family Mongolian BBQ’s “make your own lunch bowls” are a great buy. They offer a wide variety of meats, vegetables, sauces, plus noodles and a choice of sesame or bbq oils, plus tofu and peanuts, to choose your barbecue meal mix. We visited as a family and each of us had a different selection. Shrimp is available on weekends. The lunch includes a small egg-drop soup. If you’re a vegetarian you can put together a pure veggie bowl. Drinks are available for purchase. Robot FAM will bring over the water and any drinks you order besides the “pick your own.” Your bowl will be cooked on the grill in front of you while you wait. They bring the soup and the water to your table. Beyond that the service is minimal. The bowls are of a moderate size, thus the portions are as much as you can fill in the bowl. They also have “all you can eat” for those with larger appetites. For my family a bowl each has been more than sufficient. If you have anything leftover you box it for home- something you cannot do in an “all you can eat” meal. It’s a friendly and casual family restaurant, and affordable. Great value!

We’ve been coming to this place for about a year now, and it never fails to impress. The food is absolutely wonderful. Love being able to watch them. Use the grill to cook it. They have a great array of proteins, including seafood and lamb. The vegetable selection changes every time we come in, which is great. Most days, they have a little robot that delivers your drinks all in all. It’s a great place to visit and and up reasonably priced for the amount of food you can get. It’s all you can eat.!

I am disappointed in my visit to Family Mongolian! I loved the welcoming environment which is the main reason my family and I go here. But if coming to dine in pass 8pm is a problem, it should be informed and not allow to dine in. Because I rather be told than made feel like I am burden to the staff. I know there is new management,but I expected the same customer service or better.

Pretty cool place. You serve yourself in the bowl with gloves and they cook it. They’re very attentive and fast. Enough seating everywhere and they even give little extras when you sit down. I don’t know what those fried things were but they were good. They have alcohol too.
