I was working in the area and googled a place to eat and found this place. I didn’t know what to expect from the outside, but I was pleasantly surprised by the staff and food.
The waitress kept my water full and brought me more napkins when she saw that I needed them.
They had a fried fish and fries lunch special and I got the one with 2 pieces of fish. It was only 12.99
Not a fancy place, but good food, good price and good people.
Don’t Be Scared to go in.

We stopped here on a Saturday morning. The service was pretty good. We got a seat immediately and the food came out fast. The country fried steak was awesome, but everything else was pretty plain. The place is really just a classic diner in a nice small town.

I was running ahead of schedule on work travel and decided to pull in here for brunch and had the best hash browns of my life (the rest of the food was great too, but look at those hash browns). Sweet staff that was attentive and kind, and the hostess even made sure to warn me about some construction up the road a bit. Everything you want from a small town diner.

Pretty good for a small operation in a very quiet town. Country fried steak was easily the best part. Worst was the wait: it might have been close to a half hour before our food arrived and besides one other couple, we were the only ones in the place when we arrived. Really don’t have any idea why it took so long, unless being out of towners slowed down the cook’s mojo (the waitress really did seem to know a lot of people by name as they started arriving after we had, as other reviews noted). To be fair, most other orders seemed to take awhile.
