Okay so here’s my honest review I’ll start off by saying I saw a photo on my Facebook feed of their pastrami sandwich I wasn’t able to make it there for a couple of weeks when I finally got there I was told that cuz it was Friday they weren’t doing the hot specials I asked if they could possibly just make it because that was the whole reason I went there in the first place I didn’t know that.. and they actually did which I thought was awesome and isn’t something that usually happens for me. I was a little taken back when I was told the price was about $20 just for my sandwich but it came with a large side of onion rings a small side of salad I chose the coleslaw when I finally got home with my food and opened the container I was greeted by this gorgeous monstrous sandwich the bottom bread was a little bit soggy because of the greases in the bottom of the tray but the bread was fantastic the sandwich was very good until I got a big mouth full of what was supposed to be banana pepper which I’ve never encountered an extremely spicy banana pepper before usually I like spicy but this was extremely hot. But overall this sandwich was really really good after I picked off those peppers! the coleslaw was delicious the onion rings were delicious gigantic portion I still have half of it left that’s probably going to be my dinner. I overall recommend it’s a little bit pricey so it’ll probably be a once in awhile thing for me but absolutely delicious

People up front were very friendly and helpful. The sandwich I got which I think was a special for the week it was called the high school I believe was soooo delicious and huge!!!! Definitely get the bang for your buck!

Hands down, the best sandwich/ (and much more) deli shop one could ask for! Their weekly hot & cold sandwich features, vegetarian special & salads are always out of this world. The mother & daughter duo behind it all are clearly very passionate about what they do. You can tell everything is prepared fresh and with love. They also have an array of baked goods & breads from all of the best bakeries around. And their coolers are always filled with ready to go goodies, local dairy & eggs, and more. They also have some of their own baked goods, and, they do their own honey-baked ham that’s out of this world. I am so thankful to have this family-owned business so close by!!! The staff is always incredibly helpful and happy to help. 🙂

We’ve been coming to Family Deli for about a year, now. We stumbled upon it from a Reddit post, believe it or not. The first thing I’d like to say about this establishment is that you can tell everyone that works there loves it. The staff is always so friendly & accommodating. They know their menus & items they offer like the back of their hands & I think that type of dedication & passion deserves attention.
Now, let’s get to why you’re really here… the SANDWICHES & my gosh are they incredible!!! Every single sandwich we’ve tried in the last year has blown us away. They’re huge & overflowing with beautiful flavors. No wimpy sandwiches will prosper here. The attention to detail with the ingredients is incredible & the way the flavors are perfectly balanced & executed is mind blowing. The quality of the ingredients is also mind blowing. This isn’t some hole in the wall sandwich shop, no, no. This is a sandwich shop that masterfully curates amazing sandwiches. You can tell they sit down & take their time creating the weekly lunch menus & I’d like to tell the owners & staff that it does not go unnoticed. Thank you.
My favorite sandwich so far has been the Hot #1 from a few weeks ago. It was called “What Bank does the Sun belong to? Daylight Savings.” (did I mention I love a good dad joke & these guys never miss?). I saved the ingredient list from the menu just because my socks were completely knocked off. It was: Chicken Cutlet topped w/ Cajun Turkey, Hot & Sweet Roasted Peppers, Melted Gruyere & Fresh Mozzarella, Sweet Chili Garlic Hummus, & Arugula. IT. WAS. INCREDIBLE. Like, who would have thought to put sliced turkey on a chicken cutlet?! If I could eat this every day for the rest of my life, I would… without question. That’s just a taste of the types of sandwich combinations they create at Family Deli.
If you’re ever in the area, please check it out. I must warn you, you’ll be counting the days until you’re able to come back. I’d also like to mention, please check the website menu for the weekly specials & pay attention to the hours of operation. If you can, call your order in, in advance. The kitchen for hot foods and sandwiches closes at 4 most days & is closed on the weekend. If there was anything I’d change about this place, it would be the hours for the kitchen. But, hey… I get it. The kitchen staff works really hard to make these enormous & gorgeous sandwiches, so they deserve to get off work at a reasonable time.
All in all, this is one of the best sandwich shops in the area & it’s not up for debate. The pictures & reviews don’t lie. Get there!

Easily a 5 Star ✨✨✨✨✨ review. I just ordered a #9 and the size of this sandwich is Giganormous! Nobody makes sandwiches this size, this place does! Quality you ask? They use Boar’s Head meat’s and it’s all fresh. And to think I was hungry before, this sandwich is easily lunch and dinner tonight. I didn’t remember the price I paid but whatever it was it’s worth it based on quantity, quality and taste.

I’ve tried to order from here four times in the past year and have never once been able to place a successful order.
Twice, they were out of ingredients for lunch on a Tuesday before noon. Another time, I was quoted 2 hours and 10 minutes for a lunch sandwich. Most recently, I called to place a Christmas pickup order and was told they’re no longer accepting order. There’s no notice on their website or Facebook, and the menu is still prominently linked.
This has been consistently frustrating and disappointing. After this many failed attempts, I’m done trying.

The deli is take out only. The quality of food and baked goods is outstanding. The portions are large. If you can order ahead, do it! This will save you time.
