Want a great Philly Cheesesteak? Look no further than Fame Good Eats. Moe, one of the chef owners, operated a cheesesteak shop in Philadelphia until he decided to join his father at Fame. The cheesesteak pictured in this review is half of a 10 inch hoagie. Moe recommended that my brother and I split it as it is made with 1 pound of prime rib eye. Cooper cheddar and onions were blended generously into the meat. He also buttered the roll with garlic butter. It was a truly outstanding Philly cheesesteak.

Our first visit here and it won’t be the last! Yes, yes, yes make sure you come here for brunch!! We ordered from the Sunday special board and were so delighted in how wonderfully flavorful they were!! My husband had the Napa Valley Benedict. It was smokey, savory, and crisp. Perfect blend of grilled sourdough bread with maple pachetta bacon and asparagus mouse topped with a tarragon hollandaise. It sounds like the flavors should not mix well, but oh my gosh, it was tremendous – and different!
I went with the red velvet pancakes. Wonderfully buttery and sweet. Trust me it was not overly sweet, which is what I was worried about.

Wow! I love my dining experience here and have been back quite often. I had to write a review because I’ve never tried shrimp and grits before but I tried them for the first time on Saturday and came back Sunday to get them again. They are so good here! Service is very fast and friendly, and all of their food is delicious.

You absolutely can not beat the service at this place….hands down the friendliest servers and they are so on their game it’s amazing. I’ve had really good food from here but today I order the Mediterranean Shakshuka and it is now my top breakfast EVER. I’m not young and I love going out to breakfast. I do it alot. And this breakfast today went straight to my all time #1. I might go back tomorrow and get it again lol.

The cinnamon swirl pancakes were the kind of breakfast you keep thinking about long after the plate is cleared. Fluffy and golden, each pancake had a rich cinnamon ribbon baked right through it, creating pockets of warm spice and sweetness in every bite. The swirl caramelized slightly on the griddle, adding a subtle crunch that balanced perfectly with the soft interior.
Topped with a light drizzle of icing that melted into the pancakes and just the right amount of butter, they struck that ideal balance between indulgent and comforting—sweet without being overwhelming. Paired with a hot cup of coffee, they felt like a cozy, homemade treat elevated to diner perfection. If you’re torn between ordering breakfast or dessert, these cinnamon swirl pancakes easily satisfy both cravings.

Pleasantly surprised. The menu has a good variety, the people were very pleasant and attentive, and the food was very good. We ordered the corned beef special, traditional cheesesteak, and chicken and waffles and all exceeded our expectation. The cheesesteak was huge and the chicken tenders were clearly homemade and really good. This is not fine dining but a nice little brunch spot.

I have been meaning to come here for a while now, and I’m so happy I got to check it out. DELICIOUS food, so affordable and the service was seriously the best.
We ordered a chorizo eggs Benedict, side of grits, chocolate chip pancake with a side of banana, a breakfast special with pancakes, French toast, sausage, bacon and eggs and a side of potato’s. Everything was great. It tastes homemade- you feel at home here. My daughter’s pancake was one of the best I have had out. And my Benedict was a really fun variation of the original, with avocado pico and hollandaise.
With juice and coffees the total was 59 bucks. That’s unheard of.
The staff are all friendly and you can tell everyone likes working there. Everyone was smiling and so accommodating. We were greeted at the door by a man who shook our hands and welcomed us. And at the end of our meal, the son of the family who owns the restaurant, chatted with us and gave us a free taste of two soups they make, which was an awesome surprise. Apparently they were featured on Fox News this morning!
All in all, we’ll definitely be back. Finding a gem like this is rare these days. No restaurant has it all; good food, great staff and affordable pricing- but that’s exactly what you can find here.

Great and affordable food with friendly staff. I recommend the “Brulee-ed to Perfection” french toast for those with a sweet tooth and the shrimp and grits for those that prefer a savory breakfast. Others I have gone to breakfast with have spoken highly of the pancakes.

The woman on the phone was very friendly was even excited when I ordered the Brule-D To Perfection. But when I got back to my office four minutes away, this is what I opened. For almost sixteen dollars, I was really disappointed. The online photos are clearly old, but that doesn’t explain why the berries weren’t fresh. The taste was alright, but I couldn’t figure out what about it was supposed to be crème-brûlée-like. The people were nice, but the food didn’t justify the price.
