I wanted to try something new-and I am so glad that I did! I ordered the cheeseburger plate, with onion rings & it was soooo good! If you haven’t already, go on down to FAM’s! Next time I plan on ordering the wings. I’ll let you know!

Stopped in for lunch. Eye had the bbq chicken and bake macaroni. My wife had the catfish sandwich and onion rings. The food was pretty good. Eye thought the catfish was salty my wife disagreed.

The catfish, fries, hushpuppies, hot dog and onion rings were all good, potatoe salad was decent. Very quaint, and I almost didn’t see it because there’s no sign over the door, just on the glass. I’m glad we stopped in. The father and son running the place were cool and friendly. The seating could’ve been better, but I was fine with it because the food was better than most the fancier places around town.

Recently found FAM kitchen and so glad we did. From our very first visit we were greeted with a smile. Ordered the catfish plates and the food was cooked perfect, hot & fresh! If you have to wait a few minutes it’s definitely worth it. (At lunchtime we just call ahead to order) We’ve been 3 times so far and the experience is always great. Looking forward to trying the 2nd Sunday menu in the future.

This place is great, the price, the food, the people, all totally awesome what a delicious meal for 20 bucks. The meal that you get is just unbeatable, Nobody gives you barbecue for that price but these guys if you want to go get a good meal, get some good ribs, or fish, with good flavor and some good wholesome family treatment. This is your place to go. If you eat anyplace else after eating there, you will wish that you were back at fam enjoying their tasty flavorful food

The hidden gem is the place to go for BBQ in Carrollton. The sandwich is huge and the ribs are perfect. The fish is amazing. I highly recommend this place.

Absolute best bbq and red velvet cake ever!! I’m very picky about my desserts, so I’m not easily impressed. But I literally have never had a better piece of red velvet cake !! If I could give 10 stars I would. If you’re reading this review, this is your sign to go try them out. You won’t regret it.
