Reviews
And yeah, we stayed at Sheraton with breakfast reservation.
DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMENDED.
The view is the main highlight. Arriving early was worth it, we were seated at a corner table with a beautiful view of the waterfall and the evening lights. Even though it was very cold outside, the winter view was stunning.
The restaurant was very quiet, only about 10–20% full when we left around 6 PM, which made the experience much more relaxed.
The food is okay, nothing special. There’s a good variety, but flavors are very plain and lightly seasoned. On the plus side, there are great kid-friendly options. Both kids loved the mac and cheese and beef.
For adults, the food was fine but not memorable.
The staff during our stay 10/3-10/5 were all friendly and helpful. I had a great time celebrating my birthday here and would highly recommend staying here.
– The spread was lacking, not much variety. There were just 2-3 types of cheeses and cold cuts.
– The hotfood counter had pancakes, scambled eggs, sausage, bacon, shakshuka. There were only two types of cereal.
– A lot of food was mislabelled or without labels.
– There was no one tending to the buffet. We had to hunt down someone to ask to ask for plates and butter.
– There was just one server for the entire restaurant and she was clearly overwhelmed. She got us coffee, but never came back for refills or anything else. We asked for a high chair and got it after a long, long time and after many reminders.
– No one was there to take orders for omlettes and the like. We had to try hard to get the attention of the solo server to ask about it, and she took our orders.
– The fallsview came with a side of a view of dirty tables. The tables surrounding us were left uncleared for the whole hour we were there. It was a bad experience being surrounded by dirty plates and half eaten food.
All in all, a terrible experience.
