I was so happy when I was referred to this place because finally a taste of home . My heart filled with joy eating at this Dominican restaurant! Food is great, service is too and music that keeps your feet tapping while eating. Empanadas are super tasty – get each flavor if you can 🙂

Moved here from Dallas recently, and for whatever reason the Triangle can’t quite deliver on a good breakfast spot that isn’t some national chain.. until we stumbled into this spot and got the Dominican breakfast. Now we ONLY come here for breakfast and is a 30 min drive. We only ever get the Dominican breakfast and the steak breakfast.. the steak is AWESOME as well. Plus the service is always great and the staff are always so kind. Keep doing what you’re doing Falls River Cafe!

Absolutely delicious food, very welcoming and friendly staff. Reasonably priced considering all food is cooked to order. Don’t skip on their Empenadas.

We love coming here with our family of 4 and have brought friends as well. We had 9 and we split up into 2 tables which worked great for our group. It is a nice, cozy environment. We’ve come for breakfast and dinner and always have wonderful servers – my kids remember and love them too. The food is always fresh and delicious. We love the Dominican food and the always breakfast! Don’t forget pancakes can be with chocolate chips We continue to come back and enjoy it each time. Thank you for providing such a wonderful place for us to come and enjoy!

We had the wonderful opportunity of trying this restaurant and oh boy we LOVED IT!!
Our server was new and he was trying so hard to understand the Spanish names as he did not speak Spanish but his attention, politeness and customer service was great.
I ordered the Pollo a la Plancha with black beans and sweet plantains. Chicken was tender, juicy, grilled onions were cooked perfectly. The beans and maduros (sweet plantains) were perfect
Husband had the chimi burger and it was very good. He also had a chicken and beef empeñadas that were great. Now the Moro (rice and beans) stole the show, we believe is the best Moro we have ever had.
We highly recommend this place and can’t wait to go back.

The pancakes were delicious! Some of the fruit was a little bit unripe, but that is a risk with fresh fruit anywhere. My server was cheerful and friendly. I was also very happy with the price– just over $11 for a decent sized stack of pancakes and a bowl of fresh fruit. Not bad at all since I got two meals out of it, but your milage may vary based on how much you eat.

What a true hidden gem! We came in for lunch, and noticed they have dominican food on the menu and all day breakfast as well! Everything tasted amazing, the bistec encebollado is very well seasoned as well as the moro. The mangu was extremely tasty and well portioned.oh, the Coffee was strong too, didn’t need cream and wasn’t watered-down.

This is a small Cafe but the food was great. I loved the chicken salad that I ordered. They did not skimp on the chicken there was so much. The service was fast and the waitress was attentive. You can tell that there are regulars that go to this cafe because people were getting hugs as they walked in. They are adding on which is probably good because it is a small cafe.

This place is so affordable and yummy! Clearly a family owned place and they were super nice. The empanadas were great and so was the steak. If you want to support local, I would absolutely recommend this place for a casual quick bite.
