I came here for a late lunch, and the place had a steady flow of customers for a Thursday afternoon. The front-of-house staff was friendly, welcoming, and actively cleaning the restaurant while taking orders at the register.
The atmosphere is casual—perfect for a stop after walking around the beautiful nearby park and enjoying the waterfall. There’s also outdoor seating available, which adds to the relaxed vibe.
The food was great! The kitchen was staffed by just one person (Willie), everything came out quickly and tasted delicious.
I would definitely recommend stopping by this spot

Wonderful Dog Friendly experience. We were pleased to learn it allows dogs inside, which on a hot day, is much more pleasant. And the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. The grilled cheese paninis where good and came out fast. Beautiful location overlooking the falls.

Everyone who works here is wonderful! And the FOOD is all amazing and made in house. The ice cream is amazing. They are also pet friendly, which is what allowed us to eat there. We went during “yappy hour” by chance, and my girl got a free pup cup! We got the BBQ pork nachos and 2 scoops of ice cream, everything was delicious. Highly recommend yall stop in and enjoy the food and the people!

Great spot at Falls Park! Convenient. Air Conditioned!! Nice staff, who seems to work hard. Great ice cream!! The pulled pork sandwich was on special, and I loved that it was served on a Pretzel bun. BBQ Pork Nachos were good. Grilled cheese with pesto was a hit, and the ham & cheese wrap from the deli was a success with a 16 year old picky eater.

We are a big fan of Sioux Falls and whenever we are in the area we come to this park and eat at this cafe. There is a lot of variety so there should be something on the menu for everyone. We generally like to sit outside so we can enjoy the falls and the view. And you can hike and take a walk around the area before or after you eat. I highly recommend!

This is a very cute cafe. We only tried their ice cream today. We had a chocolate cookie and salty caramel. They really do have very nice ice cream. I guess the only down side is that it’s quite pricey for an ice cream. This place is very spacious and of course a nice place to sit down and enjoy the view, hence the name overlook cafe. Highly recommend!
