Exceptionally good food served in a warm and comfortable atmosphere with attentive service makes this easily the finest dining Cannon Falls has ever seen. Small menu still covers the bases with offerings of carefully prepared and presented beef, pork, chicken, seafood and even vegitarian. We started with the crab cakes and zesty mayo, very tasty. Followed by the lobster and crab linguine which was every bit as good as I hoped. Spicy and bursting with flavor. A shared piece of cheesecake was the perfect wrap up. Prices that may seem on the high side for a small town like this would be a bargain for a comparable meal in any large city. Will be back again.

The staff are excellent! Professional and attentive. The food is 5 stars! Their homemade shlog is out of this world! It’s our new favorite hidden jem restaurant.

I had an excellent experience at Falls Landing.
The staff were very professional and friendly, and the food was excellent. I had the duck breast, and it was perfectly prepared. Strawberry shortcake for dessert.
I will definitely be back!

Lovely atmosphere, but some things a bit off…
Starters (fried fish, deviled eggs, potato puffs) were all really good.
Fried chicken and gravy were way over salted – I did enjoy the compliment of fresh corn & tomatoes though.
Seafood pasta, was way over seasoned with lemon. Couldn’t taste anything but lemon.
Steak, the cut was gristly and fatty.
Cava, served in a coupe – cute glass, but the fastest way to make still wine out of a sparkling wine.
I do want to mention that the staff, were cheerful and very helpful!
I am from St Paul and familiar with Fratzke’s restaurants in the Twin Cities (which are top notch). It seems the quality is a bit off at Falls Landing, but the prices are Twin Cities prices. Maybe consistent quality will come with more experience with the new restaurant (Fratzke was there the day I dined, though.) My feeling that the prices need to go down a buck or two. $7 for a side of mushrooms, $16 for fried chicken… a little high for the area. $5 and $14 respectively would seem a little more in-keeping with the area and thus be 4 or 5-star expectations for the price.

Our experience at Falls Landing was great! The ambiance is nice with some Minnesota theme. The food was tasty and prepared with a unique angle. The prices are moderate. This restaurant is comparable to upscale dining places in much larger cities. It was worth the drive from the Twin Cities!

We had an absolutely incredible meal that I am still savoring several days later! Our server, Carol, was great and informative. Cocktails from the bar were the perfect proportions.
We started with the deviled eggs which were really unique with the added radish garnish/flavor.
I had the oscar steak special of the day with a side of perfectly seasoned broccoli. Husband had the ribeye steak which was cooked just the way he likes it and seasoned well. Our favorite part of the meal may have been the mushroom and onion side order. SO GOOD! Could have eaten just a giant plate of it.
Prices and ambiance are comparable to downtown Twin Cities but bottom line: you don’t have to go into the cities for an amazing meal.
Will definitely be back!

6 of us ate here and everyone had a great meal. Drinks were good and great atmosphere. The ribeye steak, mashed potatoes and pumpkin noche were really good. Then topped off with bread pudding and a cheescake whipped cream topping that was super yummy. The waitress was top notch. Will definitely go back.

What a GEM! We love the atmosphere, which is a comfy “Up North” vibe, with attention to detail & sophistication. Their craft cocktail selection is both inspired and fun. Delicious, ever-changing menu options keep us coming back for amazing combinations to tickle our tastebuds. We’ve invited lots of metro friends to dine with us here, and none have been disappointed; it’s worth the drive!

Pretty good, but the menu is a little strange (pork belly with biscuits and gravy? Weird.) The ambiance is upscale and the prices show it. I was there for brunch, but i have a feeling suppertime would have been a better time to visit… we’ll stocked bar.
