Reviews
The food was amazing as well. The cod’s head was maybe the most interesting dish I’ve ever tried and the Sriracha butter sauce was excellent. The truffle soft serve was a perfect finish to the meal. Often restaurants just put truffles where they don’t need to be to jack the price, but this one really worked.
Service was also great, with attentive and friendly servers/hosts. Everything came on time, but nothing felt rushed. It is in my opinion a great balance between casual and fine dining, not too stuffy, but still very polished. I highly recommend Fallow for any occasion and hope to come back as soon as I can.
My partner and I have been watching Will & Jack on the Fallow YouTube channel for a while now and as big foodies it was at the top of our places to visit.
The atmosphere hits you as soon as you walk in, the staff are super friendly and welcoming and there’s a real buzz about the place. It’s classy but not pretentious, you feel welcomed and at ease straight away.
We booked the Chef’s table and my God it didn’t disappoint. You’re at the front and centre of the kitchen and it’s absolutely incredible to see the pace and precision that the kitchen team work to.
Tomos introduced himself and talked us through the food and drinks menus whilst offering some great suggestions. He was a genuinely nice guy who was super knowledgeable about the products and dishes, he helped us choose our order and explained how the dishes would arrive, we then sat back and enjoyed the atmosphere of the kitchen, mesmerised by the skill of the chefs in front of us.
Shortly after our drinks arrived which was very quickly followed up by the first of our dishes. The stand-outs were easily the Mushroom Parfait which is an absolute flavour bomb, the Cod’s head which was a real experience, the burger which is up there with some of the best in London and also the Chelsea Tart which is just indulgently delicious.
We couldn’t recommend this place enough and now have a very special memory of dining here, we will absolutely be back. Thank you Tomos for making it so memorable.
Must get the Mushroom parfait, corn ribs, and beef ribs. The mushroom parfait was so good I ordered it again instead of dessert.
Drink wise I got the Oyster Shell Martini and the Paddington. I’d have either again in a heartbeat.
Service was amazing and being at the chefs counter, many times I was served by the chef who made my dish.
Overall, a must visit in London.
We sat at the bar, where we were warmly greeted and kept thoroughly entertained by Rosa and Juniper. Their energy set the perfect tone for the rest of the evening.
Our server, Lauren, was an absolute star. She was incredibly attentive and made excellent recommendations like the Lamb Pie special, which was rich, flavourful, and a total must-try. We also highly recommend the Beef and Oyster Tartar and the Confit Potato. The presentation of both the food and the cocktails was stunning.
To top it all off, our sommelier Alex guided us toward a delicious orange wine that paired beautifully with our meal.
The atmosphere is electric, the food is rich and delicious, and the staff are very attentive and friendly. Thank you to Lauren, Alex, Rosa, and Juniper for making our last night in the city so memorable. We can’t wait to come back!
Visited on a Friday afternoon so very busy with an atmosphere that I can only describe as ‘buzzing’. Actually felt a bit intimidated being by myself but the front of house staff were exceptional and quickly put me at ease. Managed to get a seat at the kitchen counter. Pure entertainment watching the chefs do their thing.
There’s not much I can tell you about the food you probably havnt already heard. Every dish blew me away, unfortunately I didn’t have room for desert so when I ordered one anyway it pushed me into that unfortunately full zone. No regrets. That Chelsea tart is something else.
One of the chefs took the time to ask me if I’d enjoyed it and we shared what some of our favourite dishes were. It’s no wonder the place is such a success.
Well done Fallow for providing an exceptional dining experience. Much gratitude.
The mushroom parfait, tartare, and the corn ribs are a must. Our entree, the venison, melted in your mouth! I do not like game usually, but this was exquisite, like a perfect fillet! Finally, the apple crumble dessert recommended by the staff exceeded all expectations. We never get dessert at restaurants and this was a win. The wine pairing was spot on as well. Big thanks to Alex, the sommelier who walked us through the wine list and was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful! Overall, as I said, best meal we had on our trip to London. Worth every penny and more.
ribs, corn ribs, mushroom parfait, beef tartare, cod’s head, red cabbage salad, parsnip tiramisu, chelsea tart.
All of these dishes were amazing. The wines we had as well, expertly recommended by the sommeliers working this evening (The Tom Holland lookalike and the bearded manbun guy).
Thomas, our server from New Zealand, was a gem. From the food/wine recommendations to the banter to the attentiveness.
We sat at the chef’s counter and it was lovely seeing all the chefs making so much effort for every dish.
All of the staff was super attentive and helpful. Food came out quick and delicious. Wines were great. All in all a wonderful night!
We were on our first trip to London and the staff was so kind about it. The host and our waiter Stan gave us good advice about wine and which plates to order as well.
The mushroom parfait was the best surprise! Didn’t expect it to be SO good! The same goes to the Chelsea tart, very delicious.
Recommend Fallow to everyone and, for sure, was on of the highlights of our trip.
While everything was excellent, the standout for us was the beef ribs — truly outstanding and highly recommended.
Great food, great service, and a wonderful evening overall. We’ll definitely be returning!
We thoroughly enjoyed the puddings too, which were just as impressive as the savoury dishes.
The service was fantastic from start to finish. Harvey looked after us brilliantly, she recommended some excellent dishes and her overall presence was warm, attentive and professional.
A flawless experience all round. 10/10, can’t wait to return
