After a hike we decided to stop at this diner. We were welcomed in, seated and helped right away. The food was presented well and was good. The place looked clean. Restroom available. Prices are a bit higher than usual for a diner. Veggie options available and plenty of parking. Employees were nice. Plenty of food options.

Stopped in here for lunch when just getting into town and had a good meal. It’s your basic, no frills diner. I had a two egg breakfast with a ham steak, which was really good. Normally, it’s pretty hard to mess up breakfast, but the ham steak was really good – nice grilled flavor. My wife just had a grilled cheese. Obviously, not gourmet dining, but again, it’s a cafe. We were both happy with our orders.
We stopped in at 2:30, so it wasn’t busy at all. Regardless, our server was very attentive and very friendly. Great place to stop for a good meal.

Ate here with my husband for the first time yesterday, and I absolutely loved it. When I say I want breakfast their food is exactly what I mean. Perfect portions, no griddle grease taste, real maple syrup, everything tastes like it was made with love and care. Very friendly and attentive employees, clean environment. The whole building has a vintage charm, but a facelift would help it really match the quality of food and service. Will be coming back!

I ordered the New York steak, which came with a chicken soup to start. They also served a small cube-shaped bread with salted butter — it was really good! The garlic bread was delicious too. The steak was cooked perfectly — juicy and tender — and it came with hot, crispy fries and buttery vegetables on the side, which were absolutely amazing.
Also, the lady who served us was very kind and friendly.

We cleaned our plates! Fallbrook Cafe feels like we want back in time. The food tastes like it was freshly made… from scratch! Our server is very attentive. She checked on us quite a few times, and another server refilled our coffee without needing to look or ask for her to do so. We genuinely appreciated their quality of service and the savory porkchops, including the corned beef hash.

Very friendly staff here. It’s a small diner but serve great food. The cornbread and baked potato was delicious. I ordered the turkey dinner plate so it included the entree with your choice of soup or salad and toast or cornbread and your side which I got the baked potato and then ice cream for dessert.

We only tried two restaurants in Fallbrook but this was definitely the star! I took our server’s recommendation of the French toast and I was not disappointed. Perfectly cooked and flavorful. The bacon was crispy, the sausage was delicious, and my eggs were spot-on over-medium. Our server was a little swamped but still took pretty good care of us. I’d go back here on every visit!

Coming From Los Angeles to visit family we came here for the first time. Wait time was decent. We were a large party so we had to wait to be seated.
Once seated, our orders were taken quick and fast. I must say that despite the welcoming host, the service felt rushed and there is one lady who was very stern about the way she wanted to take our order.
One thing I will mention, I have never been stared at by so many people. I feel like a movie star…
My food was delicious and we were checked in to refresh our drinks. As for the prices, all I can say it’s California every thing is expensive. 4 stars over all for food and service.

I thought the service was excellent. The lady there was very attentive and did what she needed to do but they DEFINITELY need to FIND A NEW RECIPE for their CLAM CHOWDER ♀️. And their side salad is literally NOTHING BUT LETTUCE. My husband said their cornbread is good and so was their butter

It was okay. Regarding the chili bowl, it was salty. The cornbread from regular to bad, it was probably old because I cached some weird smell from it. The omelette was good, it was accompanied with wheat toasted bread which was good. The best from the place was the attention from the waitress, she was kind , but the food…hmmm good to regular.
