Social Profile:

Falafel Hut (est. 05/14/2021) (in Santa Rosa ) We have now expanded to our 2nd restaurant, which also happens to be located on Fourth Street located in downtown Santa Rosa on the same block as the Russian River Brewing Company. Please stop by to say hi and enjoy some very scrumptious food. 🙂 Established in 2006. Falafel Hut in San Rafael opened its doors to the public in May of 2006 in a small tucked away former Dairy Queen location. It has since expanded and has moved two doors up the street into the former Red Boy Pizza. Falafel Hut has a very loyal and established client base. San Rafael welcomed us with wide opened arms after the first bite of our world-famous falafel sandwich.

We’re making our way to the Bay Area from Los Angeles and we’re craving Mediterranean food. We found this place through Google and wow it’s so authentic. The food tastes amazing and we love the ambience. They have cool plants and books to read while you’re eating.

We eat a lot of Mediterranean restaurants through Washington, Oregon, and California and I would say this is one of the best we have had if not the best we have had here in California. You can taste that everything’s made with fresh ingredients from scratch.

What a gem! They served me free hummus, salad, and pita — talk about hospitality! The place is full of greenery and has this calming water sound that makes you wanna stay forever. The food was top-tier — chicken so juicy and packed with flavor, and the fresh lemonade literally refreshed my soul. Definitely coming back!

Absolutely love this place! My husband and I decided to finally come and eat at the restaurant this time (we always order to go). The atmosphere is great and smell of delicious food, oh man! I ordered the falafel wrap(forgot to take a picture ); perfectly portioned and don’t feel overly full. Ingredients are delicious and fresh! Highly suggest trying the kunafah (like a delicious cheese dessert), order at the same time you’re ordering you entrée, because it takes about 15mins to make. By the time you’re done with your meal, dessert is there!

My first experience with Falafel Hut, actually anything Falafel, and it was amazing… There is so much to choose from here but I learned from my server Mila… She made suggestions and nailed it, like she was having fun helping me choose. The food is so good, the Mango drink I had could be habit forming… I picked up an order for clients that ordered a lot of food… The food was delivered way faster than I expected. I’m thoroughly satisfied by the food, the selection and most of all the service… Can’t wait to go back…

I cannot rave enough about this place. My husband & I were made aware of it in a passing conversation with a stranger about our love of food when he mentioned this place. We have now had several items from them over the last few months & every time it has been beyond our expectations.
From the warm & friendly service, to the well prepared and delightfully delicious grub, you cannot go wrong here.
I’ve included photos of their Falafels (which is a MUST every time!), the chicken shawarma wrap, & a few delectable desserts

The yellow rice was really good, and my partner loved his burger. The fries were also delicious! It was a good place to visit, and I enjoyed every meal. I’ll definitely go back for sure

We were passing through Santa Rosa on the way to the redwood parks in the northern part of the state and stopped into downtown to find a place for dinner. I have long loved kebabs and flatbread dishes, so we decided to try the Falafel Hut. Good choice! The young man working the register was so friendly in taking our order. The food was great! Large portions and very tasty. The flatbread was served warm with hummus. My wife’s lamb gyro plate was excellent and my chicken kebab was on par with my favorite restaurants at home in Atlanta. If I find myself back in Santa Rosa, I would definitely stop at the Falafel Hut again!

Falafel Hut Santa Rosa isn’t just great food — it’s the kind of place you feel the love the moment you walk in. Family-run, welcoming, and everything is clearly made with care and pride.

The falafel and Pakistani food are honestly the best I’ve had. So fresh, so flavorful, and you can taste that it’s made with love.

They also have a dessert case — a beautiful display of incredible pastries and sweets: Turkish delight, baklava, pistachio bars… so many beautiful things, it’s hard to choose.

I had the kunafa (and truly had no idea what I was ordering), but I’m SO glad I did. Whatever you do — DO NOT skip it. It instantly became my favorite dessert. Ooey, gooey, crunchy, creamy… there are no words for how beautiful and delicious it is.

If you have a chance to eat here, you will be so happy, (and don’t skip the Kunafa). We’re so lucky to have this beautiful restaurant.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Falafel Hut on 4th street in Santa Rosa’s Hidden Mediterranean Gem!

Stopped in for lunch with my wife last Saturday, and wow — what an amazing experience! The food was fresh, flavorful, and generous in portion. From the appetizer plates to the entrées, everything was delicious — we couldn’t even finish it all and ended up taking some to go! I recommend lamb shanks and kofta kebab.
The atmosphere is warm and inviting, filled with greenery and the relaxing sound of water. The staff greeted us with incredible hospitality — they even served complimentary hummus, salad, and pita. That kind of service is rare these days!
The hummus was creamy and perfectly seasoned, and the desserts were absolutely to die for — the Turkish Delight and Pistachio Baklava easily deserve a 12/10. The chicken shawarma was juicy we had one to go, flavorful, and cooked to perfection, and the fresh lemonade/Mint was the perfect finishing touch — light, refreshing, and full of zest.
If you’re craving authentic Mediterranean or Middle Eastern food in Santa Rosa, do yourself a favor and visit Falafel Hut. It’s a true local gem — amazing food, relaxing ambiance, and service that makes you feel at home. We’ll definitely be back!
