I’ve eaten here twice. Once to-go, and my husband and I dined it the next time. The service and food is always great. I got the chicken plate both times and the food is delicious! I love the sauce, and the portions are huge! My husband hasn’t always been a huge Greek food fan, so he got the burger and side of curly fries. He said it was really good! He also tried my chicken and really liked it as well. I would definitely recommend this for your next Greek fix (or burger!)

This place is very casual. It’s a walk up and order/ then get your name called when it’s ready, type of place. I had the beef and lamb Gyro and my mom got the chicken plate. Very good flavors. I love the tzatziki sauce! Plenty of dill! My mom thought the food was dry, but I didn’t think that at all. ♂️. She did like the flavor of the chicken though. And I agree. Very good stuff . They give you a free baklava if you make a review on Yelp. Which I did.

“I had an incredible experience at Falafel & Gyro in Fairfield. After a long day without food, I was in search of a halal restaurant for a quick bite. I stumbled upon this gem while searching for halal options on Google Maps. To my surprise, the restaurant was about to close in 15 minutes. Despite the time constraint, Safi, the cashier, warmly welcomed me and not only served me food but also allowed me to enjoy it inside the restaurant.

What a wonderful place tucked in off of Peabody road. Delicious falafel and baklava! Extremely nice owner. If your in the mood for Mediterranean food don’t overlook this place. There is plenty of food options even halal and you can get a good sized meal for under $10. The owner is on site and very accommodating to any special requests. We should all do our part to support local business and this place definitely deserves that with the quality of food and experience.

Falafel is a small family-owned restaurant that offers a friendly flavor-packed dishes. My wife and I always order the chicken platter and combo platter dishes. I f you want to stay-in, they do work with Grub-Hub. I am a believer in supporting good local businesses. These folks fit that mark.

A few nights ago, my family and I, ordered from falafel and gyro. We just moved into the city and don’t have a running kitchen. Not realizing the time, we tried to look for a place that was open. It was 8:45 and we called to see if they’d take our order (closed at 9). The man that picked up was super nice and said we could place the order and he’d get it ready, no problem.
