First time visiting Falafel Corner. I had heard about this place from another restaurant who said you have to try this place, which I thought was pretty cool! Had the Greek fries(amazing!!), falafel plate, side of falafel and chicken and rice bowl. All was very delicious. The mix of flavors was not like anything I have had before. They were out of Dolmas but that is next on my list to try also!The staff is very nice. And the food is great! I recommend this place. Going back to try the hamburgers! I have heard they are some of the best in town!!

Was a large tasty burger. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger and would not again. The bacon is similar to beef jerky, it was very tough, thick, hard to chew and not easily breakable. It did taste nice tho. Other than that the burger was great, very juicy and the bun was fantastic. Also be prepared to spend $19 per burger…… the fries were perfectly cooked and crispy. We were the only ones in the restaurant and our order took 15 minutes. Everything is slow and made to order, very nice. It seemed like a cozy mom and pop type restaurant.

Underrated!!
The plates are so flavorful and have the perfect protein to rice ratio. The juicy badmash burger is not for the faint-hearted (it will get messy) but will taste like childhood. Plus, everything’s made on the spot by that one friendly staff member (who I think is starting to recognize me because I’ve been there so often, oops).
The only downside is that there’s no bathroom.

Thank you Falafel Corner for a delicious lunch! Everything we ordered was freshly made and yummy! The burgers were tender and juicy, served with really crispy thinly cut fries! The chicken plate was very well presented with fresh hummus and really fresh crispy salad. I’d definitely visit again! The owner was amiable, easy to chat with and put in genuine effort for his customers. Overall had a pleasant experience. Want a great burger? visit them. Your kids will thank you too! 🙂

Summary: Falafel Corner is an excellent addition to Davis’ food scene. The food here is fresh, no gimmicks, and delicious. Surprisingly, one of the best burger spots in town, and the falafel is crispy, fresh, and is not going to leave you feeling too heavy.
Taste/Flavor: I’ve tried the Badmash Burger, Cheese Burger, Chicken Sandwich, and Falafel Platter. The burgers have a wonderful classic taste to them. Raw white onion, lettuce, tomato, well cooked patty, and cheese. What you would imagine from a diner in a classic movie and tasting great. The food always comes out hot and fresh and you can see the cooks making it. The Chicken Sandwich has crispy pieces of chicken and the same additions as their burgers. I was really surprised at how great their burgers were and they don’t leave you feeling too oily and heavy.
The Falafel Platter was also really great. It came with a large fresh piece of pita bread, salad, hummus, and a generous portion of falafel. The falafel was really great because the contrast of crispy fried texture on the outside and really fluffy and light interior.
Value: Great value for money. This place can be enjoyed by students and non-students alike. Two entrees and a side added up to be about $30.00 with tax and tip included (about $10.00 per standard burger).
Seating: There are two tables for 4/5 and two tables for 2-3 inside. Outside has 2 tables that can seat 4/5.
Atmosphere: the owners and employees are extremely warm and welcoming. They accommodate customizations to dishes as well. You’ll instantly feel welcome when you arrive.
Conclusion: If you like burgers, falafel, or gyros you owe it to yourself to at least try out Falafel Corner. I’ve left satisfied both times I’ve come here.

Been eating here since they’ve opened and it used to be better. The gyro platter I received was dramatically smaller and the actual gyro resembled burnt bacon bits. Such a shame since this place used to be amazing.

This is a new, family owned location. It was really nice to see the whole family working hard and offering great service. They were so sweet and the food was delicious! They’re giving out free drinks with your order, too, on the house, since they’re new! It’s a great location to go for a walk in downtown Davis after you eat. All in all it was a wonderful experience, I would go again.

Falafel Corner catered my dinner for 40+ people and it could not have been better!! The food was delicious, everyone could find something they liked. I got falafel, chicken, and beef platters. We had lots of leftovers and it was a total crowd pleaser. The Falafel Corner team is absolutely great to work with and was super helpful and responsive at every step of the way. We are looking forward to many more meals with them for our events!!

The food is delicious. I have gotten the platter each time and at first I thought it was a little expensive but they give you so much food it’s worth 2+ meals and ends up being cheaper than lunch elsewhere. Plus the food is super fresh and the meat is cooked perfectly. I feel like I usually get dried out meat at other places for takeout but this is juicy, still hot, and nicely cooked. My new go-to lunch!
