I have had Falafel Corner several times at other locations. I have always enjoyed the Greek salad. This is my first time trying this location off of Sunrise. I should not be appalled about a salad, but here I am. Their Greek salads are generally 2-3 times the size. This is like a sad side salad. The lettuce also appears old and browning. Lesson learned to always check to-go orders before leaving the restaurant.

Mediterranean Grill, clean store with a great staff, knowledgeable and friendly. Clean food affordable priced. And, the staff will happily take the time to tell you what’s in it. I usually avoid tomatoes in public eateries as too often they are too thickly sliced and not ripe. Not so here, ripe and full flavored, thinly sliced so you can get your mouth around it.

My wife and I basically had the place to ourselves when we visited. The person working their made our food fresh and it was delicious, comparable to places like Halal Guys. The person working there was even playing the piano in the restaurant, he asked us if it was okay if he played. We will definitely back again.

I absolutely recommend this place. I’m so excited to have a local Falafel Corner and this is the best I’ve ever eaten. Everything I’ve tried so far is delicious. The chicken platter and greek salad with gyro are my two personal favorites. The staff is super friendly and warm. The restaurant is clean. (seems like it’s been freshly cleaned every time I’ve walked in) I eat here a few times a week. If you haven’t eaten here you’re missing out:)

I had a gyro bawl which was fair price of 6$ as you can see is a small portion of basmati rice and gyro on top with a lot of ranch on top, no greens or even tomato included, parking is always available, when I get there about 5:30pm no customer there, cleanliness is good but, bathroom count as fair. Kinda Pakistan Tandoori like.

Had lunch with family for the first here. The food is good so much spicy. They give you to go plates even if you eat as dine-in. I will come back for sure. And my son give the spicy 5 out of 10.

This place has very shoddy pricing. On my receipt I was charged 9% tax when Citrus Heights’ tax is 7.75%. At the end asked about why I’m charged extra, was told that is how the machine is setup. Also was charged $1 “Custom Item” Asked what it was for, was told it was for the chicken in my Philly Wrap, even though the menu clearly shows the wrap comes with meat and no extra charge and didn’t customize it in any way. Asked the second worker, who refunded the $1, but not the tax. Check your receipts.

If you like bland, un marinated Gyros, DONT COME HERE. Hands down the best, most flavorful gyro I’ve ever had. If you get it, ask for it to be extra spicy!!
