The plaza is nice and clean, with very good ventilation that helps not to mix food odors.
The dishes are not expensive and they are vast.
Today I have the combo with 2 proteins and the shrimps were sooo good, the teriyaki chicken was ok. The fried rice was great but a little bit too oily for me.

We ordered two 2 protein plates. One plate had the garlic shrimp, teriyaki chicken, spam kimchi fried rice, and spicy mac salad. The second plate had the katsu chicken, kalua pork, mac salad, and white rice.
The spam kimchi fried rice is okay, not a lot of spam in it. The spicy Mac salad is pretty spicy and really good. Our favorites from these were the garlic shrimp and the katsu chicken.

Was greeted right away and the worker was very knowledgeable of the menu. I got the chicken katsu with mac salad and rice, because the worker recommended. I can say I was not disappointed at all. I will definitely be coming back! The food was very delicious and I am not a fan of mac salad but theirs was pretty good! I would say though that they gave me more ice than drink, so that was definitely not worth the $5.

Don’t miss out on this place – it’s a must-try! We ordered two mix plates, both featuring katsu chicken and the two different shrimp options. The katsu chicken was perfectly juicy and crisp. The standout for me was the chili shrimp with the shell on – I couldn’t get enough of that sauce! It’s buttery, tangy, and sweet; they should bottle it because I wanted to put it on everything.
I also loved the sesame seed sweet sauce I got on the side, but if you like a bit of heat, the spicy sauce is also fantastic, especially when mixing the two over the katsu chicken. The shrimp with the pesto-like sauce was tasty, though I think a different batter might elevate it further.
While I prefer white meat chicken over chicken thigh for the katsu, which would have bumped my rating from 4 stars to 5, the rice was cooked perfectly. The macaroni salad was a bit bland for my taste, but I generally don’t like macaroni salad, so that might just be a personal preference.
Overall, I’d definitely come back and eat here again!

What a great addition to the South Bay!
I came specifically to try this place and asked for their recommendation. The pork belly and sweet chili garlic shrimp mix plate was the suggestion and it did not disappoint! Everything was tasty! I really loved the pickled onions that were on top of the pork belly.
I went back another day to try their crunchy spam musubi. Absolutely yummy!

I got the 2 protein mixplate, with karaage, kalua pork, spam kimichi fried rice, furikake fried fries, and the pogua fresca.
The kuraage chicken was super good. So much flavor to it. The kalua pork was pretty good as well. The kalua pork went really well with a green sauce (i forgot the name of it). The furikake fried fries were also really good. Nice, crispy and given a lot as well. The spam kimichi fried rice was pretty good. Finally the Pogue fresca (orange drink in picture) was a super nice drink that went really well with the meal. Mac salad that came with the plate was also pretty good.
I honestly ordered too much lol. Was super stuffed with the kuraage chicken, kalua pork, and some of the mac salad. Also ate good portion of the fries and some of the fried rice. I’m a big dude and can eat a lot so i was suprised.
I would 100% order from them again (but less next time lol). 5/5 stars.

Came across this place on TikTok and it is soooooo delicious. Fakas has flavor on flavor this is not your regular kind of Hawaiian bbq. Everything seems heightened from the sauces to the seasonings to the onions everything had its own unique take. In an area saturated with Hawaiian bbq places this spot stands alone with its elevated flavors and bold take on everything they do. Every dish come with your typical rice and macaroni but what made it stand out was what they did with the most basic elements, rice had furikake and the mac had cracked pepper adding aromatics and splash of flavor in the first bite. Pickled onions complimented the plate had created balance with the heartiness of the plate. The karaage chicken was dressed with ginger teriyaki and a spicy mayo and more furikake. So friggin good.

Amazing food! Get the chicken katsu sando, it has the chicken katsu with the mac salad! We also got the chicken katsu combo plate with the spam musubi and that was also delicious. Love the vibes here, plenty of parking and seating!

The second meal I’ve eaten in my life that I looked at the price and went damn, but the food was still more then then the price, didn’t know the flavors I just ate existed, macaroni salad is a little heartier then I’d prefer but nothing less then a 100/10, those flavors hit.
