I went in cause it was the closest place near me not expecting it to be good, and I was pleasantly surprised! Seems they have a great variety of dishes. Tortas, tacos, several Mexican dishes and Mexican Cokes in a glass bottle! I ordered the asado plate and it came with two homemade tortillas, rice, beans and a splash of salad. I almost finished the plate but actually got full! I left one spoon of rice on my plate. My friend ordered a taco plate with no drink and said it was really good and now knows where to eat when he’s back visiting Odessa! Total was $31.60

Well food was no good! 12-15 years ago they were good. Not anymore. I was craving red beef Enchiladas! When I got my plate the cheese wasn’t even melted. So I started eating the enchiladas, the red sauce was kind of sweet, after a few more bites I realize it’s CAN enchilada sauce. I cook chile Colorado sauce all the time and this has no real Chiles in this sauce. That’s not the only thing wro g with these enchiladas, the meat is like the consistency of dog food. Not great at all. So I’m looking at my plate and there’s a lump at the end of my enchilada, I grab it with a fork and eat it, it’s a Potato! Who want potatoes in their enchiladas?! Just the worst plate of enchiladas I might have ever had. Not authentic, not food anymore. I Do Not Recommend!!

My husband and I have never been here, we where on our way home and decided to grab a bite to eat. Well when you first walk In they didn’t say anything to us(no welcome, or can i help you) and there were three women behind the counter. First strike Then we looked for the menu saw it on the wall, I ordered beef fajitas and my husband ordered Chili Verda plate. By looking at the pictures I posted we didn’t get we ordered and it wasn’t hot. There were only two tables, ours and one other. That is second strike. I believe in good food and service and we didn’t receive it at all. I would NOT recommend this place!!

So the food is always good, that’s never been an issue here. What I do have an issue with is the fact that they don’t give out salsa for all your burritos anymore if the burrito or dish comes with any kind of pepper in it already. The salsa is one of the best things about going there and for them to want to charge .75 cents for some is ridiculous. That’s why I only gave them 3 stars. Maybe if enough customers say something they will change their policy on this because it only recently started. Updated on 6/14/24. So now the small half filled container of salsa is .85 cents each. Again it’s not about the money, but the fact that a Mexican restaurant doesn’t supply salsa for its burritos. And when you ask the lady at the window that pretends to be the owner about it, she gets pissy.

Would give 0 stars if I could. Went in to get food that we had call ahead and ordered. When handed my plates they were not placed in the bag right and one plate flipped… I asked if they could please re plate it. Just put things back in their place maybe put more cheese on the enchiladas and maybe put different rice and beans. THEY REFUSED. Told me I would have to pay for a whole new plate when I didnt want anything remade just wanted them to fix the plate. Ridiculous, won’t be back.
