We set up an order for 12 and were really disappointed. I went over the order for about 30 minutes a few days prior to make sure we had everything for our pick up. We came home and were unpacking the order and we had half the tortillas (only 16 for an order of 12), no corn tortillas (which were paid for and we had a gluten allergy in our group), no sour cream which we paid $22 for and 1 t bag of chips for 12 people. I also asked to pay for the $25 catering charge so that we would have all of the plates and utensils which were also left out of the box. I called and the person I talked to was very rude and my husband had to drive back to get the things they messed up on. Whoever answered the phone hung up on me and kept hanging up before I could even explain what was going on. We had a group of people arriving and it was stressful having drive 20 minutes go get the things that were missing in our order. We will not be back and I would warn anyone to check your catering box because there will most likely be things missing. I am including a picture of our $22 sour cream! Oh and I would have resolved this with the manager but whoever answered the phone said there is “no one in charge and no owner.” Very shady!

I went into wait on an online order and minutes passed without seeing an employee. Another guy came in, checked out the menu, waited, then left. Then an employee emerged from the bathroom. I said that I was waiting on an online order, but that the gentleman just outside had come in and suggested he open the door to let him know that he was available to take his order – the employee shrugged that off. When my two orders of 3 street tacos were handed to me, there was only one order in the bag. I explained to the employee that there should be 6 total – two orders of three as it said on the receipt. As he stood there confused, I attempted to appeal to the logic that 3 tacos should not cost $20, to which he replied “I don’t make the prices.” Forcing me to retrieve the order confirmation and prove I wasn’t trying to pilfer an extra order. As he went to the back, I waited and now wondered if he was back there playing some “Waiting” games with my food.

As I sit at home writing this review and opening a taco – it’s just a tortilla and chicken – despite their menu stating it comes with cilantro, diced onions, and jalapeno ranch sauce. Absolutely miserable experience and so poor that Fajita Pete’s is a place that won’t get a second chance, but I can’t imagine they’ll be in business much longer with this level (or rather lack) of service.

The worst Fajita Pete’s location I’ve been to in terms of food quality, which makes it sub-par value. Also gave us a tiny bag of chips despite adding on extra medium salsa and queso. Maybe that’s how they do things, it feels odd compared to how most Tex-mex restaurants work. Perhaps it’s just a poorly run franchise?

The food is delicious & homemade.
I even wrote this review BEFORE I finished eating.

MEAT: I ordered the Steak Fajita online which to me is FAR superior to the chicken.

TOPPINGS & Tortillas: Came with gauc, pico, rice, cheese, chips, salsa, tortillas, lettuce. EVERYTHING you need which makes it quick & easy.

I love both the flour & corn tortillas. The corn is a thicker style to where there is a subtle taste of Masa. The flour is LIGHT and I absolutely love that and so does my tummy.

BEANS: The refried beans are a perfect texture & taste just like the pinto beans my maw maw used to make. RIH Maw Maw. The charro beans are so flavorful with chunks of steak. These beans have been cooking all day.

SERVICE: Finally the service is outstanding. The food is always ready when they say and always served with a smile no matter how busy they are.

horrible food..! The tacos with chicken (flautas) were filled with chicken skins, a viscous consistency, horrible, we didn’t eat anything except it was takeaway and the employees didn’t, they put the correct order for us, we needed it. It was incomplete and I lost my money, the truth is, DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY FOOLISHLY IN THIS PLACE

For a fajita that doesn’t come on a sizzling cast iron pan, these fajitas are delicious. Expertly seasoned, great guacamole, delicious hand made tortillas.

For improvement, it would need sour cream. The portion was quite small for the price. The rice and beans taste fine, but don’t add much to the meal especially when the rice isn’t particularly fresh. Also, the salsa is entirely throw away. It tastes closer to tomato soup. The price for what I received should be 12-13 dollars, not 18.

But overall, the fajitas were tastier than expected.

Note, this is mostly a dine out restaurant.

While the food is good, for the cost the amount of meat I received is very disappointing. You can get more meat at Lupe Tortilla for the same price.

One of the employees was coughing loudly and often without covering his mouth at all. Coughed right at me. If the food wasn’t decent I would of only provided one star based on the hygiene of the establishment.

Ordered almost $250 of food for a pool party on 9/27. Got a confirmation the food was on the way, then got a notice my order was cancelled. The store agreed to refund the money but has not yet and no one is getting back to me. So shady and terrible business practices.

If I could only give Fajita Pete’s ZERO stars…

First, know that in my direct opinion Fajita Pete’s tastes like a white person in Iowa opened a Mexican Restaurant. IT is AWFUL, but beyond that….

We ordered $64 dollars of Fajita’s PLUS a TIP of $4. We got home with the food to find that there were no Tortillas and no queso in our bag. Ok, not the end of the world, but definitely frustrating. I called and asked if they could please correct the issue, I drive back to the store and they give me tortillas but no queso.I called them back driving back home to bring the family what I had.

The “store owner” calls me about 20 minutes later.

Low and behold, the owner is agitated, short with me and proceeds to ACCUSE ME OF LYING ABOUT THE TORTILLAS and the QUESO! LOL LOL LOL SAYING HE WILL NOT REFUND MY ORDER that I will only receive a PARTIAL REFUND!!!!

I told the “store owner”, I will call AMEX and force a full refund.

ON TOP OF THAT THEIR FOOD ABSOLUTELY SUCKS!!!

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!!!!

WHERE ARE MY STOLEN QUESO and TORTILLAS, PETE?!?!

First time to order. Grabbed take out, it was delicious. So glad I gave this place a try. We will definitely order again.

Editing my review because I saw a lot of reviews complaining about the portion size. I ordered Fajitas for two. They came in a small sized box and before I opened it I worried about the size. But there was plenty! I fed my giant teen that is trying to gain weight (eats a ton), my 5 yo that loved the chicken and myself plus had some left (the teen destroyed it). The chicken was tender, good sized pieces and just delicious. Thanks Fajita Pete!
