We love coming here. It never disappoints! Salvador and his family are wonderful humans! Please give them a try. We have tried most things. Our favorites are the Birria, creamy chicken chipotle burrito, fajita burrito, tacos, and fajitas, chile verde burrito. Tonight I tried the enchiladas and added avocado- delicioso! Also, HALAL!

The service is amazing!! This place is such a gem! The Mexican–Mediterranean fusion is done beautifully. Everything tastes fresh, authentic, and thoughtfully prepared. You can really tell quality ingredients are used in every dish. The environment is clean, welcoming, and full of fun energy without feeling overwhelming. A perfect spot for a relaxed meal with amazing food. We’ll definitely be back!

Tried this place for the first time today after driving past it a few times, and I’m so glad we finally stopped in! From the moment we walked in, the service was excellent, our server was friendly, attentive, and very knowledgeable about the menu. The restaurant itself is spotless, spacious, and well air-conditioned, with charming décor and lots of natural light. It’s such a warm and welcoming environment. Loved the variety of foods on the menu, so much to try!

We ordered the tacos/quesabirrias/enchiladas along with horchata and everything exceeded expectations. The flavors were absolutely phenomenal! We sampled three different meats, and each one was juicy, smoky, and packed with flavor. The horchata wasrefreshing, and tasted homemade one of the best I’ve had. The beans also tasted homemade.

What really impressed me was the chef personally coming out to check on our table, making sure we enjoyed our food. The quesabirrias were also larger than I’ve had at other restaurants (a huge plus!) and the consomé was just right, not too greasy, perfectly balanced, and full of rich flavor. You could tell every dish was made with genuine care and love.

I’ve already told several of my friends about this hidden gem, and I can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend!! 10/10! A great experience. 🙂

Hidden gem in Midvale/Sandy area on State St, near 77th South. Read another review about the amazing fajita burrito & other delicious food, so we tried it out. We had the loaded nachos, steak fajitas, & the burrito. Delicious food full of flavor, fresh homemade salsa, & freshly made tortilla shells.
Clean, lovely, open space, tastefully decorated, clean restrooms, & friendly, attentive staff.
Highly recommend the Fajita Grill!!

I noticed an interesting place in Midvale that had both Mexican and Mediterranean food. So I decided to give it a try.

I’m glad I did. I ordered a tasty Jamaica (aguas frescas) and the quesa-birria combo (3 total). Everything was delicious, including the chips and salsa.

My waiter was really informative and even brought out some water for my little dog

Fun fact: the meat they use is ‘Halal’ (Like kosher) so Muslims can try Mexican food. As a self-designated ‘hippie’ this is a healthier more humane way to raise and process beef etc. And I learned something new today

We have driven by and kept saying we should go there. We took our whole family to the Fajita Grill on State Street. The food was delicious! The staff friendly and helpful. We loved it. It looked and tasted so good I forget to take a picture of my chili Verde Smothered Burrito until I had already eaten most of it. It was that good. The Sopes were really good too. We felt the dinner prices were also reasonable.

I had a great dining experience at this restaurant! The place is spotless with a modern, open layout and very comfortable seating, which made for a relaxed and enjoyable meal. The menu offers an impressive and diverse selection of both Mexican and Mediterranean dishes — a rare and welcome combination.

The food did not disappoint. The meat shawarma was flavorful and tender, and the chicken skewers were juicy and perfectly grilled. Portions were generous, and everything was beautifully presented. I also enjoyed the zaatar fries, which added a unique twist to a classic side.

Absolutely fantastic experience! They made a special shawarma just for me, and it was bursting with flavor—one of the best I’ve ever had. The service was top-notch, attentive, and friendly from start to finish. Highly recommended for anyone craving authentic Mediterranean food!

Come support this new business. We are just a couple of minutes away on foot and have been waiting for them to open up. We came in for an early dinner and were happy with the quality of the Mexican dishes we tried and were happy to see that they serve their dishes with white cheese. We typically avoid Mexican establishments that dump yellow cheese on their dishes.

Tortilla chips were nice and thick, probably great for nachos, salsa is the thin puréed type but had good flavor.

The flour tortillas served with the barbacoa plate were of excellent quality, wow. A good indicator that the kitchen cares is serving good rice and beans, both were the case here, cooked well and seasoned.

First time trying Sopes and we loved them. Carnitas were very good. Enchilada red ranchero sauce was on the sweet side, reminded me of a red sauce and mole mix. I liked it but my wife prefers savory and less sweet (not a fan of mole).

Front house staff were fresh? Maybe getting used to the job as some basic soft skills were lacking, although she had a good attitude.

Restaurant was clean, plenty of space. We look forward to trying out other dishes and Mediterranean options.
