I’m guessing the food spoiled before they served it. I ordered baked chicken with rice in the evening; that was the only chicken they had left. Perhaps there was a good reason; when I used to go there the food tasted fresh and reminded me of homemade. But I had stopped going a couple years before because I observed signs of infestation. Nevertheless, I was asked to get food from there again and decided to give it another try. Indeed the place looked clean, so I proceeded with my order. Afterwards, I stopped at a store to pick up another item; when I returned to the car a few minutes later, the whole inside of the car stank like a clogged toilet. I opened the container, the chicken looked glazed with some veggies on the side on top of the rice, but did not look tampered with. Perhaps something had spoiled and they were unaware of it. Nevertheless, that probably should be something as a restaurant owner you should be well aware of to maintain your reputation and for health reasons. Needless to say, the food went straight into the garbage, their reputation remains shot in our household and I will never return to this place again, nor would I recommend it to anyone else.

Food here in general is good, but my son and I love their fried chicken its a small popular spot for authentic Jamaica food. If you know what you want i would suggest ordering ahead of time to pick up.

Fav jamaican restaurant. Faithy cooks with the right amount of salt- each time! Never too salty. It’s an authentic jamaican spot and her food tastes authentic. There are some good servers but there’s some that shouldn’t come to work(too much attitude).
One thing I don’t like is the hours of service, they aren’t accurate. Some days I go and surprised to see it lock then other times in the morning when i think its opened she may start later.

Went in with my significant other for lunch and waiter was rude and told me i was “broke with no motion” I paid $20 for chicken and rice but the chicken was uncooked and looked unpleasant also the place smells horrible and i saw a couple of mice

Very upset wasted my money on some overcooked stew snapper. It looks good but tastes OVERCOOKED. This is actually my first time trying this location cause I see it opens late when I get off, so of course I wanted to give it a try. Well I will never come here again, now I’m hungry, it’s late and I’m suck just eating steam veggies…. I’m in the heart of west indian culture and majority of these shop around my way really suck.
