This place is my Saturday afternoon mainstay. The coffee is always well-crafted. The staff are warm and hospitable. I have known several of the baristas and admin staff for years. I appreciate that Fairmount invests in the spiritual lives of students at WSU and beyond as well.

Got an oat milk chai and honestly enjoyed it, I prefer a sweeter chai where u can’t taste too much spice and the one I had here was perfect. Their sandwiches are delicious too I enjoyed every bite while sitting in the chill atmosphere the cafe had.

I had been wanting to try the coffee from this café for quite some time, but due to a busy schedule, I never got the chance.
Finally, we got the opportunity to visit. I ordered their caramel macchiato and hazelnut latte (hot coffee), along with a Nutella bar and chocolate muffin. Personally, I really liked the caramel macchiato and the Nutella bar.

Fairmount has been such a blessing to me! The staff are always friendly and I love the variety of bakery items that are half price after 3. It is a unique ministry of the LCMS and the young adult Bible study on Tuesdays is a great group.

No pour overs – but I’ve decided I can’t ding a place for that. As usual, I just get black light or medium roast (mighty pennant roast)and it’s got pretty good flavor notes which is nice. I did get a warmed up cinnamon roll and it was great. Just the right balance of frosting and cinnamon yum in the middle. The amount and sweetness of the frosting was skirting the edge of too much, which made it just right.

Cute spot with an authentic coffee shop vibe for both college students and non students. Lots of space, plenty of seating, good coffee and baked goods, natural light, quiet enough that you don’t have to yell to have a conversation and great customer service. On a busy day you may have to fight for a laptop plugin along the wall but that may not be a problem.

Best blueberry muffins we’ve ever had! Rivals our home town muffins we enjoy which are made in house from scratch! They need smaller ice cubes for iced coffee but the coffee was 3 star at least and the atmosphere was 5 star!
