The lady working there is the sweetest! She’s very friendly, welcoming, and super quick with service.
Highly recommend!
I don’t like eating and drinking out of paper and plastic. I understand from the restaurant’s perspective it’s far less work, the customer just tosses their cup out, no mug to clean, but I prefer a proper mug to drink my beverage out of. It’s a strong turn off for me.
Their Turkish breakfast is the best in town—authentic, generous, and full of flavor. The baklava is made fresh daily, and their nearly 30 muffin flavors are something you won’t find anywhere else. I especially love the poğaça with ribeye and mozzarella—it’s deliciously unique.
The owners, Atilla and Ozlem, have poured their hearts into this place. You can feel it in every detail—from the quality ingredients to the carefully curated dessert case filled with house-made éclairs, profiteroles, and Turkish rice pudding.
It’s more than a bakery. It’s a cultural experience and a community gathering spot. I’m proud to support Fairfax Bakery and highly recommend it to anyone looking for something fresh, flavorful, and truly special.
While the breakfast platter offers a variety of options, it didn’t quite meet my expectations given the price—$25 feels steep for breakfast. The quality was average, with the sausage in particular falling short and the overall flavor lacking some seasoning.
On the positive side, the simit was excellent and the tea was exceptional—I’d return just for that.
The seating is limited, so it’s better suited for takeout.
It’s more than just a bakery—it’s a cozy little piece of Turkey in Virginia. Highly recommended for anyone who misses real Turkish pastries or wants to experience something truly special.
