My friend traveled two hours to come see me and I am a mom that doesn’t really get to go out much and we decided to go to this restaurant because we have never been and it is so conveniently close to home I was also craving steak and potatoes that I didn’t have to cook. So my 10 month old, my good friend and I arrived at 6:45 pm got sat right away there was maybe 3 other tables in the dining area. We sat and waited 20 minutes till my friend got up to ask this really rude male server for menus which he ignored her completely with a snotty attitude. My friend was able to get the female who sat us attention and asked her if we could atleast look at a menu. She brought us menus and asked what we would like to drink we ordered a margarita on the rocks and my friend also got a diet soda. The diet soda came out and it was horribly flat. Our margaritas came out and they were the worst margaritas I have ever had they were pure alcohol and lacked margarita ingredients. The server then brought out another diet soda but again horribly flat so my friend just pushed it to the side. We ordered nachos and French onion soups. Nachos were ok the French onion soups were good. I then ordered the prime rib medium rare for $38 and my friend got the NY strip medium rare for $31 ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING!! When the server had put our food down I smelt a foul odor and thought maybe my child needed a diaper change. Both our steaks had absolutely NO FLAVOR very bland and they were dry. My friends strip was over cooked. The vegetables which were cauliflower, carrots and i believe broccoli were so raw they couldve definitely chipped a tooth how under cooked they were. We both had two bites and couldn’t get passed the horrid smell and the god awful flavor of the meat We then looked at eachother and decided that we couldn’t complain anymore accepted our loss asked for a box so we could leave. Our bill was $121 i didnt drink the margarita or even eat my dinner. We ended up at weis to pick up a frozen pizza. We got back to my place where I had to throw the meat outside for the animals. Needless to say we will NEVER return to that place I was so disappointed especially since I never get to treat myself the way I tried last night.
Now, let’s talk about the food – it is simply phenomenal! Every dish is bursting with authentic flavors, perfectly cooked, and presented with care. Whether you’re indulging in classic Irish fare or exploring their more innovative dishes, you’ll be blown away by the quality and taste. The menu is diverse enough to satisfy any palate, and the portions are generous.
Adding to the charm of the evening was the talented piano player, whose music was the perfect touch. The soothing melodies created a relaxing ambiance that made us want to stay even longer, just to enjoy the wonderful atmosphere and music.
Overall, Fáilte Irish Pub offers an experience that is second to none. The combination of top-notch service, friendly staff, outstanding food, and live music makes this a must-visit spot. I can’t believe I stayed away for so long, and I can’t wait to return!
My filet mignon was the toughest I’ve ever had not to mention it was cold as well.
I must say my wife was very happy with her dirty martini which she said was the best she ever had and put her in a great mood so we had a good time.
Several people that got seated got up and left because they didn’t even get service.
The order we were waiting for was garlic parm wings, ranch wings both orders were supposed to be with bluecheese and celery which the man taking order confirmed. Also ordered a burger delux with onion rings. We got a cheese sticks that were left too long in fryer and cheese came out of the sticks and it was just batter or breading with no cheese.
The delux burger came with no lettuce, tomatoes, onions or ketchup.
Both orders of wings came with no celery.
After i got home i noticed that they messed up the order and when i called back. The woman that answered the phone asked who took the order and intold her it was a guy. Who she started speaking too and he told her to say sorry and we could go back for onions, tomatoes and lettuce while laughing in background.
I will not going back and would not recomend anyone get any orders to go.
The only thing they got right was the beer.
